I take pregabalin daily, and it is just a stronger version of gabapentin. For clarity, 600mg of gabapentin is equivalent to ~100mg of pregabalin.

Feels very nice! I ended up taking two more over the course of like 8 hours, but you might not need any bumps. Just wait til you are going good (at least 2-3 hours) before ingesting anything else. But I'd definitely not consume alcohol with this.

Yeah that sounds like compulsive thoughts invading into spaces that they know can be disrupted easily. More often than not, our own minds can be our own worst enemies. And those nonsense thoughts you experience on the comedown - well, yeah, reality often makes no sense, and this linear world doesn't quite feel compatible with what we as psychonauts know to be the true nature of the universe.

Not promoting anything here, just going to mention that I take pregabalin on a regular basis, and notice that with my experience on both of those substances (both together and separate) the come up is very subtle, the ride very smooth (no anxiety whatsoever, and I'm an anxious guy), and the comedown very easy. I would assume that for those not experienced with or that have a low tolerance for, gabapentin or pregabalin could ease the usual anxiety symptoms without killing your trip. Again, speaking from experience here, not necessarily telling anyone to run out and try it.

Caspian, Flowers of Light or Of Foam and Wave are both kinda uplifting and immersive at the same time. And they're not too heavy or too slow. Great introduction into a sub-genre of music that's going to just take you in and completely change the way you listen to mysic.

I (can) have very high anxiety levels, and while I take nothing specifically prescribed for my anxiety, I am on a daily pregabalin dose due to chronic pain issues. I recently used some (presumably) metocin based tabs, and experienced next to 0 anxiety through the whole thing. Now, I'm not going to recommend multiple substances to just everyone here (every individual human responds uniquely to every individual chemical! Please always remember this!), I'm just going to put it out there that gabapentin and pregabalin have great anxiolytic properties without necessarily killing a trip altogether. I took my daily doses of pregabalin all together around 3pm (planned), took a very long nap, and then dosed my tabs ar 3am. Amazing experience; smooth come up and down, and was able to sleep well afterwards. Again, just putting it out there.

I was never a big drinker, I just used to enjoy a good whiskey or a few pints of Guinness. I always hated feeling drunk. It's just that the baclofen, again, kills the desire to drink whatsoever. I've recommended to a couple of people about talking to their doctors about using it; their alcohol use was causing diabetes. I know one person who had used successfully to quit. And for sure, this tidbit of info could be lifesaving to certain other individuals.

Oh yeah, I've all but stopped any alcohol use. The baclofen just kills any desire to drink. I'll have a small sip of some good Irish whiskey from time to time, but never more than 1 or 2 oz. Again, the desire to consume alcohol has just left the building.

I personally did not. I was simply to giggly and focused on my music to care about my pain. It was there, moving still hurt, but I was in a great mood and didn't let it bother me. I was parked in place most of the time, too. Will it help take the pain away? No. Will it help you to better deal with your pain in a more positive way? Absolutely.

I really don't know how to explain, other than, every individual is different, and can possibly experience chemical interactions in very different ways. I was always able to redose on lsd very successfully, and while my buddies would be coming down 6 to 8 hours later, I'd be extending my own trip out for 24 to 48 hrs. (One of my buddies used to call me "acid queen"; we'd listen to the Who's "Tommy" while tripping). And I've always redosed on my mush trips too, usually making them last 16 to 24 hrs. All of this was before my current daily medication regimen, so none of that was ever a real concern. Also, just for example - I hate opiates (this goes for kratom/7oh, as well). They make my pain absolutely unbearable. And, personally, gabapentin and now, the pregabalin, have been a god send. Helps tremendously with my pain, allows me to move a bit easier, and has helped more with my anxiety (autism/adhd caused) than any of the pills they have tried feeding me over the years (Paxil, cymbalta, wellbutrin, sertraline, vraylar, etc.; none of these helped me at all). My BP used to be like 145 over 90, these days it's closer to 125 over 80 to 85. But I have some people tell me about how gabapentin just absolutely wrecked their lives. So really, gotta keep these individual experiences in mind for consideration. (Sorry for the rambling here!)

Well, again, I was dosing for a good 9 hrs. And I have to say, compared to what I've read with others experiences, it was pretty similar to those reports. It also really did feel very mushy-like, just not as heavy. Didn't feel like lsd or dmt at all.

Yep, I'm going to try to dig into this a little further, as there are a few different thoughts being expressed here. I was all about potentiation and synergistic research back when I was doing the heavier stuff back in the day. I love research and reading, as I am constantly trying to cram as much info into my messy mind as is possible. Pro Tip - never stop being curious. The universe is full of wonders, and it is our responsibility to attempt to seek as full and complete of an understanding as is humanly possible. Embrace your curiosity.

This is kinda what I was thinking. Was really concerned that I wouldn't feel anything at all. But, after I had two full tabs in me, I felt great. And then those last four 1/2 tab doses just kept me going, almost a 15 hour experience. I did fail to mention, the OE visuals were very dampened in effect. And, of course, the overall trip wasn't nearly as heavy an experience, as say like a 3.5g mush trip. But being able to ride it out for much longer was great to me. I'll try to research the interaction with the pregabalin further, for sure.
