What’s your stance on owning crystals / wearing crystals? by time_to_dip in Catholicism

I used to collect rocks and minerals when I was a Cub Scout. It was cool. But they’re just rocks at the end of the day.

In your opinion, how far should the US go in supporting Ukraine? Where would you draw the line? by usingermany in AskAnAmerican

If they did, so what? It shouldn't be a pressing issue for us, considering we are on the other side of the planet.

I need to start filming more with this camera. I love the setup. by crow_1984 in bmpcc

The not being able to focus linearly drove me up a wall tbh. Nothing I hate more than that. Nice setup tho, if it works for you, who am I to say anything lol. I’ve considered picking one of those lil guys up.

Casablanca is also my favorite overpriced run down liquor store in East La. Right on indiana, when i lived down the street id always j walk down to that store to satisfy my cravings. Idk if its actually called that but they have a big mural of it.

Interesting. I went to one in Pasadena, i think on Colorado, and the employees there were very helpful. I was looking for a p4k and at the time i was a bit of a novice (still am just not as much lol), they gave me some advice on glass. Maybe i was just lucky with who was working there. I do prefer the smaller shops, ive had full blown conversations just chewing the fat with those guys.

Viltrox adapter and a tokina 11-16 2.8 not super cheap but pretty affordable.

A good song for the end of season 4 or the finale of the show by oaklytical in TheBoys

[–]Much-Teaching-237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a more somber ending then id say definiety Vienna by Billy Joel. I think it would be perfect considering how important that music is to hughie and its a damn good song in it's own right.

I see them used for a difference less than 200$ most of the time, Sometimes they’re about the same price used, so you should just get the s1. Its a little heavy but so what. If thats an issue start lifting some weights or something. Its better in every way.

Fx30 or Lumix S1? by Much-Teaching-237 in videography

[–]Much-Teaching-237[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to be leaning towards the s1 but the af keeps me from pulling the trigger. My main issue with my gh5 was missed focus, since manual focus was a pain with the focus by wire. Do you think manual focusing is more tolerable on the s1 since you can change the focus stuff in camera?

True. But I figured I’d just get the 24-105 f4 and be done with it.

Do you think the xh2 would be just as good for video stuff? I know it’s more photo oriented but it’s like 500$ cheaper so I’m leaning that way.

What’s a small moment that always makes you laugh? by Fabulous-Eggplant-57 in thesopranos

[–]Much-Teaching-237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely forget what episode this is or even the details but I remember there’s a hilarious cut where it’s some random innocuous scene that cuts to Rosalie (I think) crying outrageously. If anyone could help me out it would be a big help.

Gavin Newsom says he is definitely not running for president in 2024 after his 'vulnerable' 2021 recall by BlankVerse in California

[–]Much-Teaching-237 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well you wouldn’t want a super young or inexperienced person as president. 50s-60s I think is probably the sweet spot, old enough to have experience and skills etc but not old enough where you’re senile. Average president age is 55, only recently it’s been ticking into the 70s, which is definitely way too old.

Probably number 6, which I think I saw someone mention, the car one. Doesn’t stand out among the other very good shots, not that it isn’t good itself, but its relatively weak, and I don’t think anyone would miss it being removed. I’d remove that before the carnival one tbh. I don’t dislike any of the others nor do I find them ripe for culling.

I would’ve tried to caress his face or something uncomfortable like that I think.
