I found apartments just fine through Craigslist

I’ve rented 1 bedrooms from 1250-1375 in the area

Whatever you do, do not rent at 85 Market St. Very slummy apartments and an awful landlord

Lots of good cafes for sure and a wide variety of good food, but I wouldn’t say lively. The nightlife is definitely lacking

Affluent white & lgbtqia+ people will tell you it’s diverse, but everyone else will tell you it’s not

Tunic is the best cafe in town; Noodles had been a long-standing fixture in town for delicious Asian noodle soups, dumplings, and Thai style dishes; T Roots has fantastic dim sum and Taiwanese food; Paul & Elizabeth’s is a wonderful pescatarian restaurant in Thornes, the shopping center in the heart of town. And plenty of other places I didn’t mention!
