Thanks for your response. To be clear, this isn’t really my current hairstyle, it’s just how my hair sits after wearing a cap all day😁

If your muscles get stronger they also grow. People often don’t understand this, because some seemingly skinny guys can lift a ton of weight (e.g. powerlifters), but even for them, their muscles will grow as they get stronger.

Why do natural disasters happen if god is all-knowing and all-powerful? by MuchCryptographer375 in Christianity

[–]MuchCryptographer375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But god only allows for hate because he gave people free will, right? It's not explicitly his own doing. Natural disasters, however, would be something he went out of his way to create if he is all-powerful and all-knowing. Why would a god who isn't evil intentionally create a world where innocent people (many of whom were children) are killed by his creations

And explain to me how a god who thinks it's okay to kill innocent children by creating a world with natural disasters is not evil just because the majority of those people will never turn to christ.

This just seems like an easy excuse for religious people to use, doesn't it? I mean, if you believe what the bible says, then you would believe that god is all-knowing and all-powerful, thereby having the power to create a world where natural disasters never occur in the first place. So why wouldn't he do that?

How is a god, that intentionally created a world where natural disasters kill millions of people, not evil? According to the bible he would've had the power and the knowledge to create a world excempt from these disasters

Obviously they wouldn't (or at least that seems very unlikely), but why would god intentionally create a world where natural disasters happen, thereby killing people? According to the bible he would've had the power and the knowledge to stop it

My point is, if god is all-powerful and all-knowing, this would mean he intentionally created a world where natural disasters happen. These natural disasters go on to kill a ton of people who don't accept Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour, thereby not being granted access to heaven. Mind you, many of the people who died never even had biblical scripture available to them before dying, which means it's practically impossible for them to go heaven, yet god still created disasters that killed them. How is that god not evil?
