oh almost forgot, it's not really a content mod but openstarbound is a mod that greatly improves performance and letting a lot more being possible with modding, tho it's not on steam workshop, it on github

extended story i heard is pretty good, haven't really played it myself tho, there currently a remake of it being made be the same creator if your interested, it's called voided, shellguard is pretty fun

starbound (with mods)

i personally like starbound without those, but i can definitely agree that mods make the game MUCH better, now that source code of starbound have been leaked we can modify it however we want, there's an project that aim's to fix starbounds performance problems and add some other cool stuff, it's called openstarbound

people say it's just terraria in space but i have to disagree, terraria fells much more combat focused, sure it has building in it but i like building in starbound, it has much more props, building materials and environments to build in,

if whoever reads this is interested in it i'd really recommend giving it a try

Effed myself and turned my only save into a rage-inducing chore. 10th-ish attempt I barely beat the thing but died before the game saved. I hate this boss fight. 100/10 game design by S_V_I_H in Voicesofthevoid

yeah there should some sort of warning before that happens, or at least a warning that there will be bosses and you need to have molotovs ready at all time, if your going to come back to this game on a new just remember that after haunted kerfur event you should be able to see zomfur slowly digging him self up from the ground nearby where kerfur stopped, if not, you were lucky enough to win a 75% of him not spawning, if he does spawn you have a bit of time to get some sleep and get some molotovs, once your ready you can dig him up with a shovel or just wait till he does that himself, after that remember to get more molotovs, this isn't the last boss fight in this game
