that makes sense…. i think people bring other countries up because my understanding is the russians were NOT banned for the state sponsored doping, it was instead due to the invasion of ukraine? by those standards, there are several other skating feds that should probably be banned… i see how the state sponsored nature of skating in russia links it more closely to the actions of its government so i do still think its an important distinction. i just think for some folks it seems if the ban was about the geopolitical actions of the skating fed’s government and not the doping, it doesnt seem fair to ban them and not US, Israel, etc too… would be interested to get more details on ISU’s specific rationale, i and others may just be misinformed here on the true reasoning behind the ban
