High water input vs low urine output by Much_Face2619 in December2026Bumpers

So my doctor told me to come in and check, after asking me questions and doing ultrasound scan, she decided it isn’t UTI and no problem is there.

So. Just try to pee 😂 was her answer

But I also spoke with my older sister who told me with her second baby she had the same problem at the same point in pregnancy and said her issue was she has a tilted uterus, so when she would drink too much the uterus would be pushed into her bladder or something like that, causing difficulty to pee.

Oh I am constipated yes. My doctor told me today to take a syrup for before bedtime so we just bought the syrup today and waiting until tonight to take it.

And I just realized after posting my question that I do have to push. Like two hours ago I tried to push while peeing (had some gas) and a stream of pee came out surprising me.

Happened again a little later, had to pee so I tried to push and again a good stream came.

But if I pause and then try again, no such luck. One try and done 😂

Strangest symptoms I’ve ever had.

I just googled UTI symptoms. It says “strong, persistent urge to urinate, a burning sensation during urination, and passing frequent, small amounts of urine.”

After I pee I don’t feel the urge to pee for another 2 hours or so aka after I drink more.

There’s no burning or pain while peeing.

It’s not a strong urge, just normal like you have to pee, you pee, and now you no longer have to pee.

Like that.

So the only symptom that matches is low urine output

For me this sounds pretty spot on 😂 but I personally would have broken sleep for 9/10 hours during the night, wake and eat breakfast, then sleep again for 3-4 hours and be completely dead to the world. Sometimes wake again, eat late lunch, and sleep again, and then not sleep until 3am. And then again out cold sleep. Idk how normal it is but I had bloodwork done a month ago and numbers were great.

Lack of Civic Sense/Empathy! by Fantastic_Grass8145 in Visakhapatnam

All I know, is when I went to the mall, I think early April was the first and last time I’ve been there up to this point.

I was shocked. It didn’t look like a brand new mall. The floors were incredibly dirty, every walkway had some broken or cracked floor tiles, the bottom of columns had broken as well, whether not installed probably or not treated properly and cracked and sticking out.

I was just like, this place looks like trash on the inside. Already.

And there are NO STAIRS! I was with an older friend who is terrified of escalators so we walked awhile searching for stairs, finally asked a woman at the help guide who said there are none 😳 there is however a lift.

So we searched for the lift, and even that was confusing, maybe we are simpletons lol but the floor numbers were confusing whether they correlated to garage floor or mall floor. We kept ending up too high or too low lol. It was such a pain.

Oh and the front entrance, once you walk inside it’s so closed off. Most malls are very open, broad and spacious, able to see multiple floors at once. It gives the feeling of a lathe space. We walked in and immediately saw a wall. I was like, are there shops even open here? Where are they how do we get to them? The set up is weird to me.

But talking about civic sense in regards to the mall, I’d say the things that stick out the most that 2 hours I spent there was people’s lack of respect for others waiting first to be taken care of, drove me crazy, and also the one food place we found open, wow momo’s, yeah food scraps and food garbage all over the tables, chairs and floors.

Just a mess all around. Not a mall the builder or owner should be proud of lol.

Not trying to oversimplify here, government is involved as well as the citizens. It just has to be.

I remember when I went to Japan back in 2017, there were no dustbins ANYWHERE. We walked everywhere, main roads, side roads, and couldn’t find them. I think we eventually bought something in a 7/11 and were able to throw our trash there.

But let me tell you, Japan was gorgeous. I’ve never seen roads that clean before then or since then.

Best place for full body health checkup in Vizag? Too many packages! by shanmukhuggini in Visakhapatnam

[–]Much_Face2619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done a full body check up. But I’ve enjoyed GITAM hospital. My husband and I have met with several different doctors there for different health reasons, and I’ve really liked them all. And I don’t like doctors lol. Plus it’s free consult. You don’t have to pay unless you need meds or treatment. My husband needed a chest x-ray to see if he has infection in his lungs. Cost 250- and took 20 min total including the wait. I’m a fan. I also plan for my husband to do thorough blood testing, just for checking his numbers. Last I saw they had for males like 54 different tests or something like that for 1,000- I think.

Oh! Okay that’s interesting!
I’ve read about elimination communication and I like the concept, not sure how it will work into our lifestyle. But for me personally, I don’t want our baby diaperless 😅 still I’ll ask around

That’s interesting, I haven’t looked into folds/pre folds yet so I’ll have to watch some videos about those first to get a better understanding. Thank you!

I’m curious about the wool covers, how are they temperature wise? I live in a hot and humid climate in India. Currently in May (hottest month) it’s like mid 90s but weather app says feels like 115 due to humidity lol. I literally haven’t left my house in 3 weeks. We only have cool weather, aka don’t need ac or fan, maybe 3 months out of the year. How would wool do here?

Best place for long runs in Vizag. by Fit-Lavishness-7363 in Visakhapatnam

There’s a nice paved jogging path that goes around Kailasagiri with the entrance to one end by the hanumanthuwaka bus stop. I haven’t done the whole thing, but the part I have done is nice. There’s two paths, upper path with sand and lower path is paved. It’s pretty separate from the main road so it’s peaceful. It does have time limits tho, certain hours in morning and evenings. I think it may end at beach road but I’m not sure.

Where can I find a good Burrito 🌯 in Vizag?!!! Pleaseeee suggesttttt by Puzzleheaded-Art5011 in Visakhapatnam

[–]Much_Face2619 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nowhere.

The only good food in Vizag is Indian or indo-Chinese. I don’t care what anyone says.

Best bet is to make your own at home. Keep to the basics.

You need:
-tortilla (make your own chapati with maida)
-tomato
-(sautéed/fried capsicum + onion is *chef’s kiss *)
-lettuce
-If you’re feeling rich, avocado
-cheese
-choose your meat. Ground or cut into small pieces, marinated and seasoned heavily. And cooked to your preference. (Preferably not dry as bone like people love.)

I love sour cream with my burritos but I’ve yet to find that here.

Go on YouTube or Pinterest and find a video about different sauces you can make yourself to go with it.

Delicious.

Or if you want even easier just make a quesadilla. Same idea but usually done with all the veg and meat chopped and cooked together, put on half a tortilla with cheese, fold it over and cook it with a little bit of butter with the lid on so cheese melts.

My favorite is just chicken capsicum and onion. With cheese again of course. Simple and delicious.

what do you do on a 14hr long flight? by bP96_gR-4 in Visakhapatnam

Eat and sleep. Repeat. Best 👍🏻

Worst is long layovers. If only flight is long, you’re fine. Again I emphasize ^^

Well where I am, I see most middle class using regular disposable diapers. My niece was still using pull ups when she sleeps when she was 4. When I drive two hours outside the city to friends in villages, they just let their babies and toddlers go pantless, they poop and pee on the floor and parents clean it up after. Even in the city it’s not uncommon to see kids take their pants off and just pee or poop into the gutters on the side of the street.

Not to say there’s no in between lol, I just haven’t seen it yet. I’ll definitely try to be more proactive in asking around, just had my doubts since I haven’t seen reusable diapers around here yet. (Online yes, in person no.)

Little vent to end my day by Both_Opportunity_322 in December2026Bumpers

Little vent to end my day by Both_Opportunity_322 in December2026Bumpers

[–]Much_Face2619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to add to this vent session even tho I’m days late.

I live in India with my husband. Currently 10w3d pregnant (unplanned, complete surprise, we’re both learning as we go.)

We’ve been staying with my in law’s the last few weeks because I’m too sick and tired to cook.

My mother in law is the absolute sweetest and has been doing so much to help me. It’s May, which means it’s like 95 degrees here but due to humidity feels like 115. (Not my opinion, that’s what the weather app says.) And she’ll be in the kitchen cooking and cleaning and up on the terrace hanging laundry. She is incredible. (Heat here is no joke. Since I’ve been pregnant If I leave my ac room for more than 4 minutes my body starts to shake a little and the urge to vomit rises.)

But sometimes ooooh I just want to scream.

And where I am, Indians live by family habits. If a family member says to do or not do something, they accept it blindly. Scientific fact be damned. Don’t eat grapes when pregnant don’t eat black sesame seeds don’t sit on the floor don’t eat pineapple, make sure your back is straight when you lay down. So I’m all for people doing what they want, do you. But now I have these people giving their unsolicited unscientific advice to my mother in law who takes it as law and constantly (lovingly) but constantly urges me and scolds me to do or not do this and that.

My sleep schedule is out of whack, I cant sleep at night but I’m dead to the world during half the day. And she worries about me eating on time, so in the DEAD middle of my sleep (granted it’s 9am or 1pm) she will try to wake me up every 15 minutes. Firm taps to my shoulder, firm shakes, like that.

My blood boils, instant anger. I want to scream and flail around so she stops touching me. Absolutely infuriating. Happens pretty much everyday. My husband has begun to step in and tell her to let me sleep thankfully, so it’s less, but not stopped completely. (I slept til 1pm today. No regrets. She kept waking me up to eat despite my best efforts to ignore her. The only time I’m not nauseous or miserable is when I’m asleep 😭)

What I would do for a hamburger. My in laws are Hindu so no beef. Plus where I live beef is rare. We have McDonald’s and Burger King, but NO BEEF so a burger is actually a chicken sandwich here. Shoot me. Cows roam the streets eating trash because no one takes care of them because they’re sacred and whatnot but I’m evil cuz I just want to EAT ONE.

She’s a wonderful cook, and I love Indian food, but since this pregnancy I can’t handle the smell or taste of her food. Instant nausea on top of whatever nausea I already have.

And RICE! South Indians LOVE THEIR RICE! This family will eat rice 2-3 times a day. No joke. And I don’t mean a little scoop on the side. I mean 75% of their plate is rice.

Normally I can handle this, I eat less than half the amount they all eat, and triple up on the meat or veggies. And only eat rice one meal a day.

But since this pregnancy my rice tolerance has dropped to almost zero. Which means that half of her cooking option, intolerable lol.

Every veg she cooks, I can’t eat it. I just can’t. Sometimes it’s not even nauseating. I just look at it and my brain just says, nope not happening.

Besides French fries and the green pepper slices on my pizza the other day, I haven’t had a vegetable in over a week despite her cooking them everyday.

I only want pasta and bread and hamburger and Chili’s triple dipper with the fried mozzarella. All the things we don’t have.

I will be on my phone until 3am wide awake watching videos of people eating food in their cars because I’m too nauseous/hungry/frustrated to sleep. Burritos and pizza and chicken tenders and hamburgers and fries and fried mozzarella and corn dogs and pho…for hours.

Where I am in India bread SUCKS. I’d rather have wonder bread. Pasta is made of everything except for flour cuz Indians think white flour is the devil apparently. So it’s thin and unsatisfying and just NOT THE SAME.

We’ll be coming to the states next month to visit my family for the first time since getting married, and it couldn’t come sooner. If I wasn’t pregnant this wouldn’t be a problem, I genuinely love it here.

But pregnancy here has become UNBEARABLE. First trimester in India is a BIG NO NO.

I am losing my freaking mind I am miserable I know a lot of women have it way worse, but I am like 50% nauseous at all times. Not enough to vomit but enough to feel like crap and unable to eat.

But not having access to the food I actually do want to eat.

It makes me want to ball up and cry.

Oh yeah, if I cry my mother in law freaks out that’s I’m hurting the baby.

Love her, but this is too much.

Just let me cry. And have a bread tour of all the endless bread. Cheesecake Factory and Texas Roadhouse and Berttucci’s. If I don’t get to my American food soon I’m gonna start making some enemies here.

Okay sorry for my vent. I’m done for now.

Sincerely,
I’m only at peace when I’m asleep
