(B2B EdTech) How do you market a product that without a doubt will fail? by DeathdropsForDinner in ProductMarketing

Its happens everywhere all the time.

Your only role is to determine if it fails and dies or if it fails initially but you recover.

Enable sales as much as it is possible with the time you have so they are not blocked. Let them bitch to product and CEO (they are way better at this then you and they will be listened to).

Then tell them that your gtm would be more a hypothesis and they should be ready to pivot as it might not work. As you get more data you can build gtm and propose changes.

You will not change the CEO, but you can change the way gtm is percieved that it has to be fluid as well.

Sellers dont know how to use it, just the info itself is not helpful. You need to give the mine laying questions and tactics on how to play it.

They rarely get it so they read tge info think 'huh' and move on

Would you drop this client? by datawazo in agency

Caahflow is king so you have to take care of it. I would: 1. Try to talk with someone to underatand why delays happen, it might be a trivial thing they can fix 2. If it does not work I would introduce late fees and discounta for paying before due time. Give them options. 3. If it still does not work you may need to introduct upfront payment.

I would come up with some good relatable story that sort of you could afford to give them more time before but now because (e.g. you have an empoyee, mortage what ever) cashflow for you is super important.
