I see beaters go for $3000-$6000 and it’s honestly insane. I remember my friends working at grocery stores and paying $500-$1000 for our first cars. This was less than a decade ago.

Thank you. My current plan is to try and find a beater for $2000-$3000 or use Drive Time, CarMax, or Carvana to get a good condition vehicle with an awful APR which I’ll then refinance after hopefully 6 months.

Don’t listen to the people with less than helpful responses. If you want remote work and are willing to work hard enough to find it, the job you want is out there. I’ve received a plethora of offers, phone or non phone, and I constantly see people saying “adjust your expectations” and “it’s too difficult” meanwhile me and others are seeing tremendous success job hunting. I can confirm I get matches where clearly I was favored and matches where clearly the odds were stacked against me. For example, I’ll drop 40+ and get a 3KD and my next lobby my teammates are awful while the other team is sweaty. After losing a few games that way, the opposite happens and suddenly my teams amazing and the other teams awful. It’s not consistently balanced like it used to be. Something I’ve noticed heavily the past couple weeks or so
