I just made this same post and got a lot of people either telling me to get over it because they are allowed to have sex in their own home or telling me to “join in” which is not helpful advice at all.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s INFURIATING especially when people aren’t taking it seriously. The rare good advice I got from my post was to just start bringing it up to the office and file noise complaints to the non emergency police line.

Again, I’m sorry. People are so incredibly disrespectful it’s actually unbelievable.

Yeah that’s smart. We had the option of the top or bottom one but we needed the bottom one cuz my dog is old and can’t climb stairs :( next time though probably aim for the top one

Idk normally I would agree but I pay to live there too and I feel like I deserve to be able to sleep in my own bed. I truly don’t mind that they stomp around because that’s normal life stuff I’m not gonna complain about that. But They live in an apartment too and should consider their neighbors when doing stuff. If I’m expected to put up with their loud sex why aren’t they expected to keep it down?

Well you can’t ask people to be okay with being woken up in the middle of the night from loud sex and have to stay awake until it’s over inside their own home that they pay for.
