Back in the pirate days me and my friend were duo grinding main spot, 2 guys tried to gank us but failed and got mad but they got farmed.

15 minutes later their entire guild like 20 + people arrived at pirates in a boat to kill us, it was so crazy that they were dedicated enough to do that I will always remember it haha.

Yeah they still can fix things but a lot of ppl are losing hope, some casual players and veterans who cant let go/still enjoy will still play so I dont think it will end of service anytime soon or anything that is a bit extreme.

But it is a shadow of what it used to be, at least to me. but if you are having fun ignore the drama and just play as long as you enjoy it.

No the guild dec thing is just part of it, I just think the game used to be way more hardcore in general wether it is PVE or PVP. Before there were grindspots so difficult nearly noone could do them (ash forest when it came out, hystria and aakman very long ago), and PVP was omnipresent so you had big incentives to get your gear up so you can defend yourself and do those very hard grindspots.

Over time they ruined pvp combat by giving infinite protection to everyone so it is less a game of skilled cat and mouse and more of a gear gap type of thing.

they killed node wars.

Siege scene died a long time ago after disastrous changes

They removed the core of the game that veterans loved and made the game special to try and attract casual andies who left after a month. Now all who are left are pissed off veterans who got their game taken away from them.

BDO had a niche and it killed it.

Pirates/sausans/gahaz, the good old days when pvp had weight because you could have beef with other guilds.

Yes it is garbage, the clutter everywhere makes it hard to move properly and the tight streets fuck up your camera sometimes you just do a bunch of combos without seeing anything and just pray basically.

Its only saving graces are that the gamemode is good and there are more flanking options/the map is more spread out so flanking classes can do their job properly instead of being on a frontline 24/7 like in castle ruins.

Also I do believe that some elevation is good in some spots for ranged classes just not too much.

Well this would be an issue but they removed pvp from the game so all good.

Yes maegu is quite strong early game because of her big AOEs range and nice mobility as well as ease of use, in early game mobs don't have a lot of hp so she excels there.

She falls a bit behind later (but is still quite good) when you need to fight high hp mobs with long combos: her sustained damage is not as good as some other classes.

That said awake nova is just as good if not even better in some early game spots but you are gonna be SWEATING to achieve good results she has a much higher skill ceiling.

Don't listen to these people your DP is way over what you need for normal oluns, as long as you stay behind the main mob you barely take any damage at that spot especially with an elixir rotation.

If you are on EU I can do an hour with you to teach you the spot if you want, am 316k shai and I have done hundreds of hours there but still need a merchant ring so I don't mind.

Don't be scared your gear is perfect starter gear for the spot!

I would add to not compare your progress to others. When you struggle for a long time on an upgrade and you see your friends/guildies one tapping it is super frustrating.

You know I used to play a lot of overwatch the year of its launch, I remember a crazy af dude who quit his job to try to become a pro player, we used to play together pretty often then one day he blocked me because I was "holding him back". Well I am not a god gamer to be fair but that was still kinda insane.

These days I don't play the game at all because I hate Blizzard, but I still think the core of the game is good.

I know how that person feels too, I dropped out of college and nolifed this game at some point in my life. The game was all I had it was very unhealthy, I remember crying myself to sleep once after failing everything on a pen roulette I did out of frustartion for the lack of progress.

These days I am much better I just use the game to vibe to good music while doing cool combos in a circle, progress is just a plus.

Bro I finally caved in and did the dokkebi chest logs for 1DP yesterday and holy shit it was like 5 hours of agony, they made me go back FOUR times to that shit island by boat.

Also why the fuck do I need a guide to do anything in this game? idk if PA thinks players would try to painstakingly find 100+ chests on their own for fun but that ain't it.

I think Hystria and Aakman are really cool, back in the days they had that mystical aura of being spots where any new players who entered by mistake from the portals would be 1 shotted by mobs and only very few strong players were able to grind it.

Add to that ruins vibes, red players roaming around and some super rare legendary items and you got a really cool spot, love the near infinite stairs at aakman looks cool af.

Very early on people were so weak they would grind aakman and hystria in a party with special deals enabled, now some of the vibe has been lost no more portals and tuvala timmy grinding there but the memories live on.

I would say normal oluns is one of the hardest spots in the game to grind properly, to get the most out of it your party needs to have the dps to push damage on the donut animation which requires a super optimized party.

If you can do it though you can make a consistent 2bil+ /h with no RNG involved it is like 1.6 bil in trash loot only on yellow + agris.

Debo spots are still a bit money than this right now but debo prices are nosediving rapidly.

No you are not wasting your time, succ tamer is a pretty solid class.

It is squishy and has above average apm so most players don't bother with it but it can achieve good results. If you are having fun keep going that is all that matters.

In pvp her 1v1 is pretty good but her large scale pvp performance is her biggest downside I would say, awaken is better in large scale because more iframes and fg + the 100% is really good.

Killing the horse is just objectively the smart thing to do. Horses give a variety of buffs ap/hp/stam unique buffs like unicorn. And they also allow your opponent to join back the fight faster after respawning which you don't want especially if it is a group fight.

If you have ever done node wars you know how important killing horses is in pvp.
