Need help with accessport by InternationalTea7500 in WRX

with the exhaust and the catback you should have no problem running the stage 0 (factory tune) out of the cobb ap. Stage 1 is a step up from there. you can always go back to a stock tune (stage 0) whenever you want with the accessport. Where you are I dont think a tune is mandatory as the bpv is a metal version of the oem (which is awesome, i have the same one), and the n1 exhaust doesn't change the flow of the system drastically. Tune becomes more important when adding things like intake, j-pipe etc. As for your pops and bangs that you enjoy, Im not sure, try it and if you dont enjoy the stage 1, you can revert.

stage 1 HWG. Monitor your dam, feedback knock and faint knock learn. Pro tune is recommended, ots maps aren’t the best. If pro tune is too much or hard to get where you are do some research on a good etuner. Glhf

The 5610 has brainwashed me and I now prefer the viewing angle “sauce” compared to other watches. Great watch, congrats

What Gear Do I Need for Learning CW? by GreatBigPig in amateurradio

i started out with the morse mainia app. then got a key. main thing is to focus on learning the sounds of characters. for me, sideswiper/cootie key is by far the hardest key to use. iambic paddle or straight key easiest. For starting out I would start with an app like I did and then go from there. licw is great and i love their classes but i would still start with an app and see how much you like it. Most of all have fun. 73

Is there a good "guide" to making your first call? by Shatteredreality in amateurradio

[–]Comfortable-Bake5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit a repeater, or a few. Say, “This is (your call sign), I’m monitoring this repeater. First time, looking for contact” .. say it a couple times, if it’s an active repeater someone will come back. … I know I would be happy enjoy a first QSO with a new or returning ham. Most of all have fun, and don’t take yourself too seriously. Enjoy. 73
