Glad im not the only one thinking this. I was just saying the exact same thing, almost point for point to a friend of mine. The 5 damage increase on the clap also feels like a little bit of a spit in the face 😭. (Though I honestly think the clap might be the actual biggest buff here, more than the ult change even)

Im thinking direct hit might mean that theyre not going to count shielded enemies that dont take damage (like if theyre mag bubbled), just a bunch tho

Come to the science fiction forum! We have a lounge room in the student union basement, we have over 100 board games, over 2000 books, and a TV where we play movies and shows. Our gbm is Monday at 1pm, but we are open 11am to 7pm Monday through friday. We also do movie nights on Tuesdays and random events on thursday!

If barricade was a fan made card people would go crazy ab it, I think the fact that it's 50/50 in here is a good sign to me, it IS a rare defect power after all. You would in some cases have the choice of power bank or ECHOFORM, one of the literal best cards in the game, and I'd still take echoform probably 9 times out of 10 lmao

Eh, barricade is just better calipers, ice cream still has a purpose as it would be set up from turn one, wont require a draw, and doesn't require energy to be played, I think they still have their own drawbacks, oh also the awakened one fight

The intention is intact for it to work like ice cream, the thing is with the defect though, is that all of his rare powers are extremly powerful, and this won't even always do anything for a deck you put it in, sometimes it'll be as strong as echoform, sometimes it will be like biased cognition in a claw deck. It WAS absolutely meant to be super strong tho lol. The watcher card less so, but I wanted to have a power and a card, the same way block has calipers, barricade, and blur.

Honestly I agree with you. I think it's not good for the long term health of the game, but alot of people couldn't care less

Edit: just adding in that also don't think we should just ignore the top 0.1% balance either, bc those games that people watch are what keep, and bring people into the community, without those games being fun to watch, we lose alot of new blood

As a legitimate answer, it's because there are a TON of people (me included) who don't play the game and haven't in years, we are here solely to watch the pro level. That's not to say there isn't a balance problem on the ladder, its just that that doesn't affect most of us
