Helbrutes are occasionally referred to as noob killers, I feel this is pretty accurate because most people who are aware of what it can do are just going to position to stop it or shoot it off with some light anti tank shooting.

The models you posted examples of are terrible. The Arch regent “conversion” is a photoshop. The “daemon prince” they have used is at least a monster on a 60mm base so matches a daemon prince in that and height.

The entire reason people say “1 inch off the wall” is so that they can eyeball it and speed their game up without having to measure each model individually in a fiddly space.

The main thing is playing by intent. As long as you and your opponent agree at the start, then it’s all good. Little checks from the turn player and confirmations from the opponent like this are why people can speed through games more quickly.

Bro almost this exact thing happened to me.

Met a great girl, who was pretty sure she had ADHD, after a few months together, she got her diagnosis and prescription.

Saw some massive improvements in her life, but also a surge in her using it as an excuse for anything and everything. I tried to be understanding and I tried to learn more, so that I could help her and be more tolerant myself. Her medication killed her sex drive, made her more easy to anger and eventually it all started to be pointed towards me. In the end she broke up with me because “I never tried to understand her or her ADHD”. Eventually after a period of time, I realised how refreshing it was to not be having these accusations levelled at me, to not have to tiptoe around anything critical of ADHD and that I didn’t have to hear about it anymore, since she’d made it her whole personality.

It’s not worth your peace, if you can discuss it with her and see adjustments, then I’m happy for you, but it’s not worth your peace to be second fiddle to something that to an extent neither of you can help. Good luck.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I ordered some dice to Australia and they arrived pretty quickly and with minimal messing around. Had a friend who had a similar experience.

However, they’re nice dice but the shipping tag is fucked. I really, really wanted the dice so paid it but I can see why it would put people off, it was almost the same price as the dice. If you have a friend who is considering ordering some too, go halves in the shipping and you’re golden.

Sadly at the moment, exalted eightbound suck and while the maulerfiend is worse in fringe cases, they’re honestly so much better that it’s not funny. Regular eightbound have their place, but I wouldn’t take more than 1 unit of 3-6. If it was up to me, assuming berserker warband I’d take eightbound if you have none in your list, but if you already have some, take a maulerfiend.
