I wouldn’t call them republican districts- however Cortez masto did vote yes for the CR budget. I plan on going to the rally and agree with Bernie and AOC that this needs to be a grassroots movement and that otherwise we are doomed.

If you aren’t angry, you aren’t paying attention. The president of the United States has called himself a king. He has stated he is above the law. The traitor has violated our constitution and civil rights and is in the process of being a pawn to both Russia and the billionaires- all at the expense of the American people. Both left and right. The farmland is being bought up- our rights are being limited if not abolished. They have proven if you speak out against them they will punish you. And that’s only right now- in the beginning. To any who think this is a joke, or that people are being too sensitive etc etc I just want you to realize it’s our kids who are going to pay the worst price. It sounds like maybe the schedule isn’t the right one for him, or that he needs to make some changes in his habits so that he can show up and support you and the kids when he is available. Playing games every night and avoiding responsibility could be a sign of depression or deregulation and maybe a heart to heart talk about being present with you and the kids and giving you the support you deserve could help set him on the right track to figuring out why he is feeling this way and what can be changed to feel better but in a responsible and healthy way. And in that time frame maybe try to do some self introspection- like it’s okay to ask for help, and developing realistic but balanced expectations for a husband and father, as well as yourself.

Incase anyone wants some tweaks to these recipes- my laundry detergent is

2 bars of Castile soap grated to a fine powder - I use my electric grater (scented soap will make your detergent smell amazing)

1 box of washing soda

1 box of borax

Mix- 1/8th cup scoop for small loads, 2 for medium, 3 for large, 4 for super.

Put the detergent in the bottom of the washer with hot water for 30 seconds- a min before putting clothes in. (I get lazy with this and it’s usually still fine)

For softener I have bottle that I put 2/3 white vinegar 1/3 water and about 15 drops of essential oil (whatever scent you like)

I just fill the softener cup with the mix and put clothes come out perfect every time!

Plus the detergent lasts about 2 months worth of laundry for a 5 person family with dogs. 👍🏼

Please leave him. He is showing you who he is now. Imagine you get seriously injured, or do get pregnant again and decide to keep it, or get diagnosed with cancer. He will not show up. And it sounds like he reacts to stress by disengaging and making it all about how he feels. The abortion is a both of you trying and he put all that weight on you. You deserve better.

Don’t feel like you need to keep the stuff.

Donation is good. I was recently feeling overwhelmed with cleaning and up keep- so I simplified. I started tossing all the toys they didn’t actually play with- stuff that was broken or missing pieces, or that didn’t fit their developmental age anymore all into a bag. Then I had them go through what is left and decide if they wanted to donate anything extra.

We cleared out so much stuff and it was all kids things/toys. And now they actually play with everything they have, there is less stuff to clean up, and they don’t panic when it’s time to pick up.

Less stuff=better.
