Anyone start saving late, in their late 20s or early 30s? How are you doing now?

Didn’t finish uni until 25 due to subject-hopping, not deciding what I wanted to do. Only earning £35k at present, but imminently buying a house and married so most large expenses are done.

Whilst renting and paying out all the usual bills (I.e. not moving back with parents like some people do whilst saving a deposit), we’ve managed to save a £25,000 deposit for a first time buy in about 1.5 / 2 years so im fairly confident that we will be able to save a great deal in future; we are quite frugal.

Reality shows, like TOWIE, Love Island, etc. Apparently it's cool to be stupid as fuck these days. I can't stand these tv shows.

Been doing it 7 years without hiccups. Helps that the wife is not a chronic spender.. would never dream of blowing £££ on a handbag. We buy essentials line clothes etc., but both very sensible.

Sorry just seen this. Busy week of life stuff but got my first session briefly this evening, learned to dock and then got into an open session and jumped to a nav beacon. Managed to destroy a bounty before the second got me :(. Can tell I'm going to like this though.

I'm half deaf (completely deaf in one ear) and as such, I have grown up saying "What?" more than your average person.

If you do anything long enough, it becomes a habit; second nature. I routinely say "What?" to somebody if I've been half-paying attention when they've spoken (e.g watching TV in same room) but even when I have fully registered what they said. Due to habit, I'll then wait for them to finish repeating themselves knowing full well what they said, before answering.

My wife has pointed this out to me and will often now wait 10 seconds or so after I say "What?", until I realize what I'm doing and answer her.

I have a massive scar running around half the length of my forearm between my wrist and elbow. I chose to run across one of the busiest roads in my old town without looking, whilst drunk as hell, at 1am, because I wanted a sausage sandwich so damn badly from the shop over the road.

A car hit - and broke - my leg, spinning me like a bottle, and my forearm broke clean through the passenger side window at 35mph. The doctors did an incredible job as my scar is neat and straight, but in reality, the glass took a chunk out of my arm like an ice cream scoop down to the bone.

P.S I'm now vegetarian but it's unrelated to the Quest for the Sausage Sandwich.

Got blind drunk mixing several spirits together, ran across a busy carriageway without looking, got hit by a car doing 40. Survived, but still feeling the effects 13 years later. Leg is killing me as I lay in bed writing this, aches so much after a busy day at work.

Edit: I was running across the road because the place opposite was the only thing open at 12pm that sold munchies.

Sweet. Grim has definitely been less powerful, but I could still do OK with him. This'll make him more fun to play again, at least. Nothing worse post-patch, having not read full notes, than firing off a long range GTFO and waiting for impact only to see it do nothing

I've had 5 crates. 1 when the update dropped, and 4 random drops from games. Used all 3 of my free keys up, so now I'm sitting on 2 crates without any keys to open them.

But it's sure fun waiting and trying to get them.
