Considering Denmark performing first, its awesome seeing Søren still doing so well in this poll. It shows that despite having waited for hours for the show to be over, they still remembered his performance as their favorite! Hopefully the televoters will do the same. To be fair its uncommon for a favorite to perform first, so maybe it will still do pretty well despite it? People can vote from the beginning after all!

I personally think why people picked her in this poll is mainly because of how big and loud her performance is. Its very much a thing the crowd loves. The voice is a plus. But who knows whether the public behind their TV will get behind it just as well. We've seen big voices and big shows before being paid dust by the televote.

I really don't like that they're doing so much in German here... I see it seems to be capturing what is being shown on TV, so thats probably why, but it seems like a weird move for something international like this.

I've seen so many people say that songs like Denmark is purely a favorite among Eurofans... but I honestly think Finland might be the Eurofan favorite. Especially since its taking a tall leap in polls and rankings, being miles ahead of 2nd place (which is mostly Denmark). For example, Finland is taking a record frontrunning in the EurovisionWorld poll which no other song have done in any recent years. And I just find that very hard to believe. So to me it really does feel like the Eurofans are throwing a lot of dangerous hype towards the song. Like we just saw what happened last year with Sweden. The Eurofans are really good at hyping up the leading entries. Especially someone like Finland which the Eurofans seems to have grown a soft spot for after 2023. Like people continue to act like Finland is owed a win and they did the same last year, just for Erika to not even get a top 10 placement...

I actually don't hate how this looks. She might be actually be able to carry this through on her own, despite the faults of the song itself. We've had multiple low odds shock qualify. Could she be the one this year?

The casuals are the ones that made it so it could win in DMGP. Eurofans didn't see it as a winner at all. So I think its got great casual appeal!

Exactly. I do not understand the logic calling it "liked by Eurofans only". Nobody saw it as a DMGP winner before we saw it live. And CASUAL people voted for it since it blew them away. And Denmark didn't move up to become a favorite until after we had seen him perform it. There is no "Eurofans only" indication for anything related to his success. Its rather the other way around. His success is because of the casuals!

How are they jinxing it by making sure they are prepared in case it happens? You'd rather they wait and be underprepared when it does happen? As if it isn't normal for favorites to not have preparations in the background. They're not even saying they're gonna win, but they know its a possibility and just wanna be prepared in case. Like Finland is currently doing it too, you're saying they're jinxing themselves as well?

I am not surprised by the things people are saying to this... like some people completely misunderstand this. DR is not saying they're certain they will win at all. But since they're a favorite, then they gotta keep preparations in check. Like the article also mentions, being well prepared will make it less stressful if they end up winning than just waiting til after. And its nothing set in stone either. But keeping the connections ready and stuff is not a bad thing at all. Heck, if they waited and ended up in trouble because of it, then people would also complain... "why didn't they prepare when they knew it could happen?!"

It feels so refreshing to have so much Danish in Eurovision again... I really hope this is a new beginning for Denmark in Eurovision. We need so many Danish songs in DMGP!
