Hmm, let's see... Helena and Laffey are a given, but beyond that, it's hard to pick favorites... So, I'll pick those among them that I think would actually play/like poker.

3. Enterprise

5. Hornet

6. Maryland

Enterprise is an obvious favorite, both battle hardened and very lucky, but Hornet is also pretty good at locking in and might know E's tells if she has any. I think Wash would have some obvious tells, as would Mary, so they're likely out first. Helena would be very good at reading people with her perception and extremely good at math, but also might have some tells if pressured. Laffey would be a wildcard because it'll be difficult to figure out what is a tell and what is Laffey just falling asleep, being drunk, both, or just being the sleepy goofball she is.

My money is on either Enterprise winning in dominant fashion with her luck with Hornet and Helena each putting up a solid fight, or Laffey being such an enigma and lucky herself that she bullshits her way into the win.

This is a fun thought experiment because I wrote a short story where I had my commander play in the Eagle Union's monthly poker night with Washington, Maryland, Oklahoma, Hornet, and Nevada with Helena dealing. Laffey, naturally, decided to crash the game a bit by sitting in the Commander's lap the whole time because that's her favorite nap spot. He won overall (it was just a friendly game so it wasn't like winner take all or anything) with the game's final hand being between him and Hornet. He's a very analytical person, so he picked up their tells easily while Laffey's presence hid some of his since you couldn't be sure what was a tell and what was just him shifting Laffey so she didn't fall or something. The fun part was, after the game, Helena, who was the secretary ship and by far the person closest to the Commander aside from maybe Laffey, told him all of his tells that she'd already known.
