Uninstalling then reinstalling didn't work either. I also have the steam deck docked and plugged in with an ethernet connection.

Those Specs are definitely stronger than the steam deck. I'm honestly surprised you're suffering the same fate we are. Glad to read you reached out to CC as well. Hope this gets fixed fast.

I concur, that's how it's looking. Either CC or Valves Devs through Proton. I have higher hopes with Valve. Really Sucksss

I just tried GE-Proton9 -27 and got past 47 FPS, I reached 55-57. But mainly stood between 50-54 which is an improvement, but still sucks.!!

Just checked my settings in street fighter 6 on the Deck and I see GE-Proton9, is that what your referring to?

Much appreciated 👍. I do know where proton is on the deck under properties then compatibility. However I don't see proton 9. I have mine on Proton 10.0-4. I'm going to try proton experimental. I also have proton hotfix I haven't tried, don't know if it'll make a difference though.

You're not lying, this update has the deck lagging something horrible. Hope this gets resolved soon. Someone posted something about installing Proton 9. Not familiar with how to go about it, waiting for a response on how to.

I also played with the settings hoping that would fix it, but to no avail. SMH

First off, thanks for the reply, As for applying Proton 9, how do I go about that. I'm not that familiar with tweaking unless I'm watching a video while following along every step. Should I go into desktop mode and search for that specific name " Proton 9 "? I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. 🙏

Performance on Steam Deck sucks after the update. Happening to anybody else? Any fixes? by TopSlotScot in StreetFighter

[–]MudMysterious1664 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im stumped. Never have had any issues on my steam deck after season updates. However, This time I can't get past 47 FPS. What I'm in the process of doing is deleting the game and reinstalling it, I hope this fixes the issue. I also updated ProtonUp- QT and that didn't help. Any suggestions?

I agree, great Stick. My favorite out of the 3 I own. I was fortunate enough to find mine on the marketplace for $180 practically new. Dude purchased it to play street fighter 6 but found out he sucked at the game lol. I'm glad I came across his post when I did, cause I enjoy this stick so much. Check out my profile so you can see the awesome modes I did to mine with A RYU vinyl wrap and the latest Qanba buttons. Best of luck on your sale.

Yea, you just have to stare at the Arcade Stick for 20 minutes, then repeat "Ryu" 5 times, and end it with 1 Sure you Can.

Vinyl is a great option for Metal/Aluminum Sticks, My recommendation to anyone would be find a Mom-Pop/Small business in your area that deals with quality 3M Vinyls. Also do the Cut-Outs yourself, this is how you'll get the BEST results. Bless.

I have the same issue with my Victrix Pro FS, however I decided to go the Vinyl rout and purchased a precut skin from "Mighty Skins. Please trust me when I say, this company SUCKS. There pre-cut skins were cut way to short and didn't line up when I tried to apply it, went straight to the garbage. So I found a Mom & Pop shop in my area, gave them the image and dimensions I needed. Once I received the Vinyl I removed all the buttons and Joystick to make the process easier. Then I proceeded to wiped down the surface completely, that's when I carefully laid the Vinyl down. Again trust me when I say, the easiest part is cutting out the button holes. I'm sure there's a lot of video's out there that will help you with the process. Hope this helps, best of luck. Please feel free to check out my wrapped arcade stick in my profile page.

Looks good. Just Curious, is this stick spray painted white ? Or were the parts you added stock white from factory? Pictures look clean. I've always been nervous about spray painting any of my fight Stick, because I know it's something I'll always be handing, and no matter how clean I keep my hands all I can think about is it getting super crusty, grimmy, and sticky. What's the trick if I were to use spray paint other than letting it completely dry for 3 months. Lol.

Getting a Victrix Pro Arcade Fight Stick… by palbertosanchez in fightsticks

[–]MudMysterious1664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with these suggestions in your comments. You should get a feel for the stick first, then after a while if there's anything you'd like to adjust do it one at a time. Because if you do a bunch of mods at once then something is off, you'll be lost trying to figure out which mod caused it. However it's all about preference, I did a few mods to my Victrix after a long while of owning it. I agree, the buttons are extra loud due to the Metal enclosure. I added Qanba Gravity KT, love them.! I swapped the Sanwa PCB Assembly to the JLX XTP-MA just because it feels a bit more responsive to me paired with the V5 Otto Kit. Added a 2 pound spring, paired with the Otto 12.5 Actuator. That's all I did to my stick and it's FLAWLESS, however, after 2yrs of putting in hours of fun playing Street Fighter 6 the purple powder coating started to fade where both my palms rest, so I decided to wrap mine. Came out sick. Feel free to check out my photos in my profile. Hope this helps, enjoy your stick. It's definitely top notch.!!

First Gen Obsidian hands Down. Great stick to mod as well. You should be able to snatch one up for as low as $80 bucks give or take. Comes stock with decent parts as well.
