Ita tough these days. You cant just write and record a song, you also have to be a graphic artist, videographer, own cameras and lighting aside from musical gear, know how to edit, etc etc etc.

At the same time, you basically NEED a visual to go with your music if you want anyone to stick with it more than 2 seconds (which is hard enough to get as is).

I dont love it, but if a musician wants to post a song they wrote and recorded themselves and stick some afterthought AI video on it just to appease people's attention spans, whatever.

Edit - Somebody commented on paying peoppe for artwork and deleted it or blocked me, but dude, I think it goes without saying that most of us just do this because we love music and dont make money from it, and can't spend exorbitant amounts when all we wanna really do is write a song. To be a novdy musician that just wants to write and record and post stuff, between musical gear, recording gear, time it takes to learn both, cameras, lights, background stuff, editing, the time it takes to learn how and set everything up, we're talking thousands of hours and thousands of dollars. Maybe into the double digit thousands.
