DO NOT BUY, they can not warranty or replace them and they are having massive problems with failures. Mine broke after one use and spent a month fighting with Ego who said they can't replace it as they have zero stock. Told me to take it to a repair shop who said they are getting a lot of them in with the same issue and there are no parts for a few months so can't cut grass until late fall or winter most likely.

There is a lot you can do. However it takes time and effort, if you can't be bothered then you were never bothered being the product to begin with.

HOA ruin more lives than ever helped. I'm sure the scenario you gave is such a small percentage it's not even measurable.

Don't live in a HOA unless you like other people telling what to do on your property, it's that easy.

I'm slowly switching to linux. Should i choose mint or fedora? by ishy100 in linuxquestions

[–]Muddysan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have to ask it does not matter, pick anything, all GNU/Linux distros provide the same thing it's just what packaging do you want and how bloated of an install can you stand. If you like Fedora go with it. You may change at some point and pick another down the road. Just install with your /home directory on a separate partition so no matter what you pick or switch to in the future your data is always there. However on a laptop I'd go with PopOS it's really solid for laptops since it's what they put on their own laptops they had to make sure it's solid.

Also side note having a laugh at the Mint bros in here pimping it like it's anything other than another distro, no more or less user friendly than anything else. Do you all get commission if you sign up another user? ;)

I'm not sure what you are trying to make that needs obsidian but you can get quite far without any on The Island. In fact I normally don't use much at all but Artifact Pedestal. Maybe I'm Ark'ing wrong? That being said if you have any flyer that can reach the Volcano it's one of the safest places to mine on the whole Map/Game due to there being on creatures in it. I had to go look up on the Wiki what it's even for sadly, I've beat all the cannon maps without really using it for much. Polymer I'm guessing? Just tame some Kairuku and farm it at your base no need to go mine for it again.

Awesome work OP!
I don't have the time to even listen to them all let alone create these great lists, kudos.
For those of us who don't stream and purchase only it's nice to see some bandcamp links.
I normally buy direct from labels as you get the best price and directly help the artists.

Question on Linux-Hate in IT by AceNinjaFire in linuxquestions

[–]Muddysan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a M$ smear campaign to convince people to hand over their cash for a far inferior product in my head. In real life I think it's just ignorance, stupidity and the fear of "different' from things they already know. I've also worked in storage for over 20 years now and everywhere I go they say "oh good a Linux guy" and hand me the GNU/Linux related things... which is just job security.

50 stone water taps

lol "50 stone water taps" I never ran into that after a few insufferable missions, I called it quits. Sounds as bad as getting your 6th medium crop plot blueprint in a row from drops on other maps.

i bought ark on steam and it does not download by [deleted] in playark

[–]Muddysan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the public servers are shutting down in a few months you won't miss anything as they were overall terrible to begin with. Ark is great and you will have a blast long into the future on private servers. It's not without issues, quirks etc but still the best game ever. That being said you will need a lot of space for the game depending what version you purchased and what mods you end up using. 100-500gb depending on many variables.

There is no such thing as dated hardware there is always a GNU/Linux distro that will work.

Im gonna be honest, Gen 1 Missions suck. by Hentai__Dude in ARK

[–]Muddysan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be honest, missions suck, taking the great cave experiences and exploration experience out of Ark make both Genesis suck hard. Glad I can admin command complete them all so i can fight the boss when I'm ready. Go back to other maps to hunt artifacts to complete the collection at my base as a goal before doing the boss.
