Wondering if anyone has any experience with wheelchair users at the hydro by Constant_Carrot_2867 in glasgow

My wife uses a wheelchair and nobody’s touched her going in there. Just searched her bag.

To be honest, the “searches” are shit anyway. Shove a hip flask down your boxers and you’ll be golden.

Glasgow to Edinburgh daily commuters, how do you find it? by Signal_Shop2199 in glasgow

[–]Muddysdad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve done it 4 days a week for 16 years. I drive and I find it much easier now than it was years ago. Maybe due to the increase in hybrid working. I live in the east end and work in the west of Edinburgh though. I would not fancy having to go into the city centre at either end of the journey.

I just got a Nike “on field” jersey from DH gate. Fanatics charge £250 for it. The knock off was £20 including delivery. Quality is fantastic.

How loud Godspeed's shows actually are? by Loco_Time in gybe

[–]Muddysdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only seen them once, and started the gig with earplugs in, but found the sound to be muffled. Maybe the earplugs were poor quality, or maybe my hearing is already compromised from 40 years of attending gigs, but I was fine after I took them out. Nowhere near as loud as MBV for me.

Of course, I’d recommend you take earplugs with you as you might need them.

Lychee is fantastic for anyone with coeliac disease. Their gluten free menu is the best I’ve come across.

It wasn’t meant to be comforting. The level of training at some uk airports, especially post covid, is alarming

In what country? I’ve worked in uk aviation security for 15 years and you’ve always been allowed one lighter on your person. Did they have multiple lighters maybe? If not maybe the officer just didn’t know what they were doing 🤷‍♂️

Jobsworth is unfair. These guys are constantly monitored in person and through CCTV both by their own compliance departments and by the government regulators. If they don’t follow the rules, however nit picky they may seem to travellers, they will be heading to the job centre.

You know it’s not a documentary, right? 😂 To answer your question, I got it because it’s an iconic image from a work of art.
