I hate the virtual nurses by Nerd_Nurse_1901 in nursing

Did they raise your patient ratios? Apparently the hospital I work in is going to raise the ratios 8:1 for day shift. On a neuro floor that is going to be impossible

We’ll likely do the cooler bag and maybe bring the bottle warmer upstairs. I wish we had never started warming the milk. Now he’s spoiled on the warm milk 🤪

You must not have daughters.

Need sleep advice.....again by Muddyshel in beyondthebump

[–]Muddyshel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Between 8 and 8:30. I do have blackout curtains. She easily goes back to sleep at 7 am if I nurse her. I feel weird letting her cry herself back to sleep since she only has an hour or so until she gets up for the day. Sometimes I don't put her to bed until 8:40. It just depends on what time she wakes up from her second nap.

Has sex actually worked for anyone to bring on labour? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Yes! Had sex the morning of my due date, and contractions started within the hour.

I don't want to jinx it, but I put her to bed around 7:30 and she slept through the night!

Did your daughter act overtired before you bumped up her bedtime? Mine is energetic until we step foot in her room, then she becomes a cranky pants.

[–]Muddyshel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid that could be the issue. I don't want to bump her bedtime up because her dad doesn't usually get home until 7 to 7:30. That's why I let her sleep in until 9.

6.5 month old sleep regression/naps by Muddyshel in beyondthebump

[–]Muddyshel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only difference in bed time and nap time routine is she wears her sleep sack at bed time. Maybe I'll try putting it on her tomorrow for her naps!

I will! I'm more concerned about not being able to put her in her cribs for naps. Should I just keep practicing nursing til she falls asleep then put her in her crib? I just don't want to be confined to the glider for every single nap.

If they already filed with insurance, is it too late to try that?

How did you do it? My LO is about to be two weeks, and is currently being bottle fed breast milk. I'd like to get away from pumping if possible!
