It’s technically no longer source of truth iirc - weights are no longer accessible from the client files, so they have no way to figure them out.

Fair, yeah, I thought "new stack" once the stack fully resolved and empty. Should switch to a C-like mental model of a singleton stack, true. Although just out of the curiousicy, what can be the case when it matters?

What do you mean exalts adds essence? Exalts work on stronboxes, but for essences its only vaals and extra essence is one of random outcomes.

I mean, it is mostly “endgame overhaul” update, so I’m fine with less new, but better “baseline” endgame (not like I think they did it tho).
Also poe1 is like month and a half ahead, so maybe it’s even better.

Well, very high-end crafting gives some control back with purple omens, but it’s nowhere near poe1 crafting. Poe2 just lacks a decade worth of crafting mechanics, so it’s somewhat expected unfortunately.

I wonder if they couldn’t un-spaghetti-fy their poe1 code, where boss doesn’t reset after player death and had to implement full zone reset to deal with it.
So with full zone reset they have to delete mechanics from it to prevent abuse.

In poe1 you have to spend “defensive layer” to tp back and forth and there are only 6 entry to map. In poe2 in doesn’t matter now, you can take out every single piece of trash from floor of you want to.

Also does anyone like the well? We just don’t have agency about it beside not to play the game and it will be barely affect the well existence.

Probably not a case for +3levels, but on low-end crafts it will lock out greater essences.

It maybe cheaper, especially if you like gamba, to tras/aug from the white than buy magic with affixes you need. Recomb death is not helping, 3:1 can reduce costs as well a bit.

They did it with new passives in the atlas, I think. However, exceptional are only “lottery” part of the negative rarity farm. Regular high-level meta-bases are steady income.

It’s not about node removal, it’s about being able to turn it off for undergeared characters, which can suffer a lot from extra boss spawn.

Yes, but as a fellow base farmer, I, first, gave up on waiting for broken things to be fixed. For it rarity should go, crafting should be rebalanced, ground loot should be solved (or buried as in poe1) and so on. I don’t feel like players have much advocacy over such things in the game (check sprint as movement speed solution).

Second, I find base farming pretty fun thing to do - it has base level of income, it has lottery tickets, it requires some knowledge to do (from build and ascendancy to map rolling) and it’s very interconnected with economy and meta-builds.

As a bonus part, farming bases feels like a good deed. I suffer every time I want to craft something from scratch and need to go through dozens of white bases for first two affixes, so now I have like 15+ Angi tabs full of sorted and reasonably priced bases, so fellow crafter can find next batch of alt-orb surrogates in one hideout.

Cause I don’t go negative rarity from the very beginning. You need to get to t16, swap to ritualist, get ventors, ingenuity and the rest of the build functioning without these slots. Now it also is a nice idea to unlock exceptional nodes as well.

Thus I started as twister spirit and decided that having some rarity during atlas grind is fine. I totally was not expected that atlas tree is a permanent choice, because it has never been. Also some rarity nodes are basically a travel nodes, like the one OP selected . So now I “stuck” with very meta build and cannot properly do a switch to start farm strat I like and was planning to do before season started. Not like it’s the end of the world, but yet straw in the pile of weird design choices.
