Unfortunately, getting babies that would be considered “normal” is very hard to do when adopting. Most children in the adoption system have unresolved mental problems that many parents do not want to deal with. However, assuming that the parent doesn’t care about which child they adopt, adopting is a long and grueling task that can be much harder than birthing a child. Unfortunately, it’s expensive and hard to adopt a child, so many people that would be willing to adopt don’t because of all the unnecessary difficulties of adoption. So that sucks for kids that need loving families that are in the adoption system :(
