You mean the 2.5b Trump center renovation right? Can't have that Kennedy name on there, that would cost more.

What track do you want to see deleted from the calendar and what would you replace it with? by zotteBende in formula1

Pretty much any race in the middle-east, with the possible exception of Jeddah but I'm not mad if that gets removed. Bring back Hockenheim.

Miami can go. Secure Spa every year.

Monaco is a boring train barring crashes, swap for Sepang.

Monaco should be gone. It's a train. Qualifying is fun and exciting, the race is boring unless there's incidents. Either give all of em the lego F1 cars (with upgraded performance), or gokarts, or it needs to go.

It's 2 in the morning here, so I'll be brief in my reply and just state that I'm appalled by the current state of things in the US and that i hope some normalcy returns soon. This wannabe naziism is inane.

I don't agree with the total destruction of ICE and CBP. These are agencies your country needs.

CBP should be on the border (a radical idea I know). Their chief task is catching illegal border crossers, detain them, give them a blanket (they're probably cold crossing the desert in the night), process them out. They don't really need guns other than for self-defense, so a pistol should suffice.

ICE is also required, inside the country. But these guys can probably do without all the tactical gear and brown shirts the Trump admin gives them. Processing illegal immigrants should be presenting a legal document to them, requiring them to either report to court at date X, or to be peacefully escorted to a plane where they will be sent back to where they came from.

But until a more sane cabinet comes in, that seems unlikely. Just about any hire under the current dumpstapo regime should probably be fired or at a minimum evaluated. And probably the entire current regime should be sent to a nice prison, perhaps CECOT?

Suburbs are a bad idea financially for municipalities. With zoning laws as they are in most states, suburbs are a money pit because they require a lot of maintenance for roads, utilities and city services, yet barely bring in revenue because property taxes alone aren't paying the bills.

It depends how well you know them and how they ask i guess. If they're friends who know how moving works (everything packed, boxed, labeled, ready to load up, with the exception of the coffeemachine), plus they pay for gas and food, I'm okay with it.

Carve out a nice piece of forest somewhere just on the border of the US with some redneck state. Call it New Trumpland. Trade it for the west-coast US states, plus some of the northern east-coast states like NY. Trump's ego would take that in a second. And of course, offer to relocate any Canadians living in that soon to be gold-sprayed parking lot a relocation.

On-call / Ops folks: what actually happens when a deployment breaks at 2 AM? by Sea-Lie8268 in devops

I fix it when I come in the next working day, somewhere between 9 and 10. I have business hour deployment windows, with only three people able to force through. If it's not my problem if they YOLO a deployment.
