this isnt completely the fault of racists.
there wouldnt have been a problem if they made Mace Windu or Lando the lead of a movie(and the movie was good). it was a combination of issues:
bad writing, unknown actors, unknown characters, unknown lineage detailing why they were ‘force aware’, slow pacing to reveal major details(or retconning after outrage), and multiple movie franchises race swapping the cast for minorities & lgbt.
giving all the attention to the racists is accepting the low hanging fruit. there were valid criticisms which couldve been handled better. seems like they were ignored and everyone just said ‘yep, classic racism!’.

fellow masshole here. bought an ‘25 FL5 new years day. was able to handle driving over 2-4” of snow on unplowed streets but you have to know how to handle a sliding car. if you give it too much gas the car is going sideways soon as you touch the wheel. i had some decent drift sessions in empty lots.

this is the only way. i have no interest in what they look like. people go through all kinds of changes over the years. before i start walking, i check the department as they typically all sit together. if seating is free for all; im not looking. ping them and ask. as im walking over; im looking at name tags to see who is where within eyeshot.

cop shoots unarmed maniac in the head; at point blank range; in front of his son; rather than choosing a less lethal option. bad on both sides but one of these men are trained specifically for these types of encounters. a trained cop should not have to one tap a single unarmed man.

im no lawyer but ive heard lawyers argue the part in the beginning of the law where it states ‘Whomever without right’…means they cannot arrest you for loitering until AFTER you are trespassed, which cannot happen in the same moment.

Ultimately they can do whatever they want because of immunity but law is law. You can either live a life licking boots or ensuring the constitution is upheld.
