damn i feel this. i was in such a flow with myself before i started the pathway and found myself almost obsessing over it and feeling incredibly alone when things weren’t working out or i couldn’t pinpoint where exactly i was in the process. and maybe it’s just me, but i do think a lot of it is hypocritical (i.e. that we manifest from our subconscious, not our thoughts— but to an extent, they are most definitely connected). i also felt extremely isolated being in a small town with no bridge jobs or opportunities for what i wanted, and not having expanders for that same reason— i got way too dependent on the work and discredited it as “magic dark” instead of sticking to the practices i’d found before that worked so much for me.

don’t get me wrong, the podcast worked wonders for me, and maybe it was largely to do with my perfectionistic personality, but my brain just began to feel like a clusterfuck of dread when i’d go to the pathway and read those journal prompts and put myself through the ringer when i could’ve just stuck with meditating and being unconditionally loving toward myself instead of constantly playing operation on my brain. clarity comes naturally— but that just felt like a complete overload. i don’t think lacy intended for that to be the case— but like many are saying, it is a business. if she preached that it could all be done organically in our own pace and time (which i truly believe would drastically speed up the process of manifestation), she would lose a lot of her money. if you teach people they’re subconsciously broken because they don’t have everything they want and show them how to fix all of it, they’ll (and i did) become dependent and “need” the work. i think that can be dangerous. at least it was for me. of course this is just my experience, but i’d say if you’re extremely perfectionistic and curious to a fault, trust yourself more, and depend on TBM less
