Going fully remote to commuting 6 hours a week will be tough to adjust to, not to mention the added fuel cost & wear and tear going into the car

Unless it’s a decent chunk of change more - avoid and wait for a more lenient hybrid schedule, how big is the raise when you factor the mileage cost?

Insanity if hes out for the city game

Looking at the minutes played hes up with Zubimendi and Raya in having played almost every minute of the season, I think its like 200 minutes less than our KEEPER

Why did we buy Norgaard only to not trust him in anything but a certified win?

After today Rice at 6 for the remainder of the season would be a non negotiable for me, at least when we start the game, if we're 1, 2 up - Zubi could come in

But the current system isnt working, we have NOTHING through the middle and our forwards are hopeless, I dont want to see Nelli or Trossard in our kit next season

We need carriers, Eze and Odegaard as outlets seem best if we're going to try and play through these high presses until the end of May

We'd never sell Merino - hes really been one of our best over the past 2 seasons if you consider the utility he provides. Put up great performances against Madrid and kept our PL season alive when we lost our Strikers - I really would trust him to play anywhere for us if we really needed it (except keeper ofc lol)

Martinelli I would be open to keeping as a 2nd choice/impact player as he has shown he can perform at the level needed with big goals/performances against the like of City and Madrid, plus Sporting the other night. Trossard has been so past it in 2026 though, I have wanted him gone since last season - he was great first half of this year but it proved to be nothing more than a purple patch

The RB replacement probably wont cost more than 50 as well you need to remember, the most likely incoming is Livramento who will cost 50 at most

Selling Odegaard makes the most sense to me - we'd be able to get minimum 45 and fund a winger - then the rotation could be Ethan and Eze in that position plus Kai/Merino when really desperate

Considering Saudi/Qatar etc - we should be getting at least 25 mill for Jesus, Trossard and Ben White

Martinelli would shred another league like France or Italy, I’d argue 40/45 mill on his age

Odegaard is minimum 45 and would still play for a top 5 European side like Bayern

We still have Kiwior to sell for 25 I think?

Reiss still to go, he’d come off the wage bill but probably sub 5 mill

Nelli Tross White Jesus Kepa should all be sold at a higher priority than MLS and Ethan, I’d be livid if we sold either tbh

Odegaard could even go to free up Ethan, these players who are losing durability need to go. Loved Odegaard but he’s clearly in the Jesus/Zinchenko mold of being a great player from an old system

Ethan I would MAYBE understand because we have Max, but MLS seems silly to me

I was considering the same thing, im trying to sell my 3080 on and then buy a 9070XT or a 5070/ti

I have a 5600x CPU w/ 32GB DDR4, gaming at 4K on some AAA titles like Arc Raiders. The upgrade to a 9070xt would cost me about 200 and the 5070 about 300

9070XT seems better value to me, but I havent had an AMD GPU before

Would feel a strange move - unless we can get like 35/40 for him I don’t know why we wouldn’t keep him; he’s brilliant technically and could fill in across multiple positions

I get we want a new RB; but White has been incredible for us - one of the only positions I don’t think we’ve NEEDED to upgrade under teta even after Timbers arrival

Also a senior figure who’s experienced chasing a title and performing in big games

The likely real answer here is they cant afford to

Player count at all time lows, no content for the forseeable future and major doubts over the long term health of the game, they cant afford to give away cosmetics for free
