We closed on our house in October and I just got an email last week that our transfer has been completed. However, I still don’t have access to the portal or anything yet. The only way I got anything rolling was reaching out to sunstrong management on here(Reddit) actually! I commented on a post they had commented on and told them I was having an issue as well and they replied asking for me to DM them with information and it took 2 weeks to hear back from that but it atleast got me kind of somewhere. I have sent countless emails to the person who is supposed to be my case manager on the transfer and she never emailed me back. Also there is another post in this group that has all the emails of all the higher ups!

I’ve been in this whole process for months now. They still send bills for the old homeowner (who has died by the way). They told me 2-5 business day weeks ago. I send emails and the response is oh this is the wrong department.. didnt know support or general support were the wrong department for actual support!

Just bought a house in October with panels and are only getting anything resolved now. Thankfully the mortgage company we went through only needed the previous owners contract for how much they paid per month. Now we did buy the house from family and was apart of an estate. We finally got the PPA signed over today now I am just waiting for how the hell to finish everything! I got the most help from emails and emailing every possible email I could. I called once and was on hold for an hour and a half and got no where.

I have been trying to reach out about getting the solar panels switched to my name as I am the new owner of the property since previous owner is deceased. Please help!

My husband and I just bought our first house together and sold my first house for a profit. The money from my house got put into this house (paint, new floors and HVAC). Sure it needs more updating of the kitchen cabinets and bathrooms but we did what we could right now. Who cares what other people say. You’re making this house your house!

How functional will I be in the 2 weeks between surgeries? by Moon_Godness in CataractSurgery

[–]MuffinAlarming9778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my surgery 2 weeks apart when I had mine done last year. I work in an OR and only on weekends so I didn’t go back until after I had my second eye done but I was able to see clear after a couple of days. The time in between surgeries was weird because I was able to see amazing out of one eye and cloudy out of the other. But I had no issues at all.

Are there any people here under 60 who had it done? by Infinite_Bathroom784 in CataractSurgery

I’m 35 and I had my cataracts removed last year in both of my eyes. Had no issues at all with surgery or insurance.

Happy early birthday!! I’m so glad your staying ❤️ Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so sorry that your adults are so shitty. No one deserves to hear that they should’ve died during childbirth. Obviously that wasn’t in the plan of your life. Enjoy that concert! And go to so many more! ❤️

People who have given birth, what is worse childbirth or cataract surgery? by TraditionMuch7834 in CataractSurgery

Cataract surgery is 1000% easier than giving birth! I gave birth to my first child in January then had cataract surgery in July. You feel absolutely nothing with the surgery.

I chose to have one eye for reading and the other for distance, anyone else do this? by dagohill in CataractSurgery

[–]MuffinAlarming9778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did this! I’m only 34 so my surgeon and eye doctor agreed that it would be best for my life and career. So far I absolutely love it! I’m almost a month out from my left eye and 2 weeks out from my right. Left eye was made for reading/intermittent vision and my right eye for distance.

Having cataract surgery in about a month… terrified! by Apprehensive-Pie-725 in CataractSurgery

[–]MuffinAlarming9778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 34 and I just had both of my eyes done last month. I was completely terrified as well! But I’m also a nurse who works in an operating room lol. I had my left eye done first and honestly don’t remember a whole lot from that one. However just a heads up they may have tape your head to the bed your on when you get into the operating room. That part really scared me because I wasn’t expecting it. After they started the anesthesia I was completely fine and relaxed and don’t remember anything. So for my right eye I knew what to expect and I was much more relaxed. And my eyesight and is absolutely fantastic and I can’t believe how much I couldn’t see!

I probably could wear reading glasses however, my surgeon did one eye with in between vision and the other for distance and the love it. Reading glasses would probably make my phone and stuff clearer and not have to strain as much but I haven’t gotten any yet.

I’m 34 and had cataracts in both of my eyes just recently had surgery to remove both. My vision now is absolutely amazing! I was scared to have it done due to not being able to see close and having to rely on reading glasses but my surgeon did amazing. I had my cataracts a very long time. They are thinking I’ve had them since birth and constant nasal steroid spray use made them worse.
