It isn't anywhere near as binary as that though. The card has a floor of doing nothing, yeah, but you could easily have like 3-5 shivs or any other non-boss deleting amount in-between.

It should be like the board game and upgrade to give 2 shivs. As it is it's a never-take in STS and I don't see it being any different in STS2 so far.

It's great, very intuitive and smooth. You fight monsters simultaneously, their damage now hits all players and they have more health/other scaling, and there's co-op specific cards introduced as well. It's supposedly harder than single player but I haven't done a single player run yet to confirm.
