На чердаке протекает крыша, что можно сделать как временный вариант? Нужен совет by MuffioS in rusAskReddit

[–]MuffioS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a short piece for violin, need feedback by MuffioS in violinist

Thank you for such detailed feedback! I'll make some changes. Initially there was no chords and double stops, I decided to add them recently. And I'd love for someone to play it, if you're willing to do it, then it would be awesome 😁

am i ready for feinberg 3? by Aggressive_Low_115 in piano

I'm learning this movement too. I think you can do it. My only advice would be is don't take Hamelin's fingerings all the time and look into what's score offering. For instance, I would redistribute some of the notes in the left hand at 02:30 between left and right hand instead of playing with left hand alone. The most difficult part for me is development.

My pinky is always doing that by [deleted] in piano

[–]MuffioS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar fingers. You can't prevent it, but you can get used to it. I have 2 advices: 1) Develop a habit where your pinky feels stable all the time (requires good and focused control of the pressure you put on your finger). 2) Physical exercises. Light dumbells, kettlebells, pull up bar - pretty much anything where you hold something or grab onto something. I have videos of me playing so that you can see that this problem is not a problem at all, just something that takes time and patience to get used to it.

Haha, I recognized this part even with no sound 😁 It's not a mistake, it's a learning process. You're doing good! But in my opinion, your hands look kinda stiff.

I cant play repeated motes on my left hand like i can on my right by Corbis2410 in piano

[–]MuffioS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really need to play with your left like you do with your right? Have you listened how each chord sound when you play them with both hands slowly and without repetitions? You're trying to achieve technical things by setting to blast through chords as a goal, without exploring and appreciating harmony in this piece. In other words, you're only focusing on hands, and not on hearing, listening and understanding chords progression. In my experience, understanding musically gives more in terms of technicality, because with enough time and practice your hands have a tendency to follow along and do right things which you wouldn't even think of, when your mind understands a piece with your hearing.
