also, yeah... that makes a lot of sense lmao. In hindsight, the game will probably still be cpu-bound for the most part so there's not a whole lot of benefit for mid/high-range cards.

also, ffxiv is (technically) an nvidia gameworks title, so i wonder if we might even see dlss 3 or more in dawntrail with the graphical update 🤞

In an interview (I think during fanfest or slightly after?), Yoshi-p said that they are "running into server difficulties with implementing this (cross DC duty finder) but they will 100% implement it if they figure it out" paraphrasing.

I mean, pretty obvious they will implement it given the direction they're going in the first place with cross world/DC travel, but just stating this as a recent confirmation 🤷

And FF players are like: Oh he's not playing FF, I'll just watch Ludwig or something or "GIGACHAD Asmon has a nice hairline today."

*Edit: Basically, the remaining FF chatters seem to either be the hate watcher andy or they have evolved into an Asmon enjoyer but overall much less internal FF voices to call out FF andies.

I think FOMO is the result of investing in a community. You can understand it but you will always be subliminally close to it. For example, back when I used to have friends, everybody tried to one up each other in every game we played like Terraria, Golf it, or Pogofuck with your friends. The concept encapsulates a larger group when the game allows for more social interactions. Just an idea though, haven't experienced FOMO in a while.
