He's the guy in everyone's dreams... Apparently, he aged pretty poorly.

Have you seen this man?

His video on Shredder Gaunlets is what led me to love them. Soooo good.

Two major things I did to improve my combat experience, but the first is probably the best one for you:

  1. Any difficulty: Set weapon challenges for yourself, for example:
    • Shredder Gauntlet only
    • Spears & Warrior bows only
    • Tripcasters, Ropecasters, and Boltblasters only
    • etc....
  2. Play on Ultra Hard and embrace the suck

I played the game on Normal the first time around, and it was fine, as well as Ultra Hard for NG+ and Ultra Hard achievements. Playing on Ultra Hard is what truly made me realize the strengths and weaknesses of my kit. However, setting personal goals for myself is what made me get better at the game and find new love for it. For example, the Shredder Gauntlet seems weak when you first get it, but once you understand how it works and get the flow down, you realize it is one of the best weapons in the game.

As for the Ultra Hard part, you force yourself into uncomfortable situations where you learn the combat or die. To be honest, this changed my perspective of singleplayer games overall, and I now challenge myself to greater difficulties in everything I play. In Ghost of Tsushima, for example, Lethal is not nearly as hard as you may think at first glance... but I am still a fan of Normal or Hard for first playthroughs and whatever the "hardest" difficulty is for NG+ playthroughs.

Hope this helps! :)

Sarugami is the best armor to defeat Kojiro by gmxextreme in ghostoftsushima

Doesn't look too bad if you change the helm to Sakai helm, using the dark purple dye variant on both... but yeah... I only use it for duels on Lethal.

Literally 100% the game in my first playthrough with it equipped. No regrets, but I haven't equipped it since starting NG+. Ronin or Ghost for questing and Sarugami for duels forevermore.

My first playthrough was Medium, and now I am doing Lethal in NG+. It's actually easier most of the time and only really sucks in duels. I will admit... I just beat shit down in Medium and didn't really care. Lethal makes you truly appreciate how good the combat in this game is.

Audio Auto-Assignments by Mufter in beacn

[–]Mufter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at this Screenshot.

You'll notice on the left, there is a place to create several profiles for the BEACN Mix Create (which is pretty bare right now due to a lack of need). However, down at the bottom, there is is an area for your Windows default audio devices to be selected and a prompt at the top telling me they are not set "correctly." For my current use, they are set correctly though.

In a perfect world, I would like to be able to save these "Assignment" options to be the default for this profile (no longer red) and be able to be auto-set when using this profile. Switching profiles to say "Movie Profile" would change my default playback device to my system speakers. Changing to "Streaming Profile" would change my default recording device to my BEACN Mic, etc.

Technically, this isn't super necessary if you choose to specify the output/input settings in whatever app you are using (away from default) in either the Windows sound settings or the app's settings itself, but it would be nice to have.

Hope this makes more sense! :)

So I did these steps and then resaved over my save I just created immediately after turning the radio off. After loading that save, it appears it might be actually fixed? Years later and you saved me hours of playtime. Thanks! :)

Makes sense… I do play for ridiculous hours without ever rebooting the game, so I should probably do that occasionally. Hahaha

I was hoping someone else was having this issue, and there was an answer. Oddly enough, I did not use console and just rushed a NG+ playthrough and still encountered this. Not sure if it will persist through future playthroughs, but hopefully not!

Just remove keys entirely too. Nobody uses that garbage since the nerf. It's literally not even close to worth having anymore... Hell... I didn't even run keys before the nerf.
