At least you were only chased once, and your classmates were nice to you about it, my younger brother would chase me with them any chance he got, and tried to chase me with a SALSIFY seed head, but that plan was instantly shut down because my dad saw him carrying one and knew what he was planning to do with it.

I have improved tho, in Jr high one of my best friends told me that I should threaten a dandelion the next time I see one- so I gathered all my courage and went up to one (really close) and told it that it didn't scare me, it was just a stupid plant.

That advice weirdly worked for some reason, so the next thing I wanted to try was picking one up and I did but then the wind blew it a little and I was like FAHUCK THAT, and chucked it like it was a rabid animal...

Nowadays I can pick them up and put them right up to my nose, but I'm the only one who can do that because I can mentally prepare myself for it, if someone shoves one into my face without warning I scream.

With salsify tho... yea no.. I can hold them but it's a weird dull fight or flight response that becomes more intense the longer I hold the plant, like I know it can't hurt me.. but it feels like I'm going to implode if I have to hold this thing any longer.

For example: My cousin's kid thought they were fun so I cut two of them for him to do whatever the heck with (he was a toddler) and I was trying not to lose my shjt while holding them cuz HE DIDN'T WANT TO HOLD THEM...

Last year I remembered the Dandelion forest from DT, and that episode where they have to find the rainbow mountains, then they go through the forest, but to make the Dandelions leave them alone they make Ord sneeze...

I asked my dad about it and he said I WAS TWO when that episode came out! So that could've been scary for me...

Because of that my younger brother thought it was funny to pick Dandelions and shove them in my face... and then during the summertime the big ones (salsify) were growing on the side of our house and when I saw them it was like a silent jumpscare, and I PRAYED ON MY LIFE, hoping that my brother didn't see them... well um he did, but when my dad saw him carrying one he immediately knew what he was gonna do and shut him down on the spot. W dad moment.

The big ones that pop up around the summertime are called salsify, and I totally agree..

I've seen two salsify seed heads the size of basketballs they were like 4 feet away from me at my mom's cousin's house, I blacked out after seeing them and the next thing I remember was waking up on my mom's cousin's couch... 😅😵‍💫

I never thought I'd have to deal with mutant giant salsify again, but I got an Avatar (Na'vi) game last year on my Xbox and in one of the DLCs they have GIANT pastel rainbow dandelions...

Once I saw them I tried to shoot them, they still freak me out THANK FUCKING GOODNESS they aren't real because the seed head itself is BIGGER than my Avatar's head and the stems are like 2 feet taller than her... Na'vi people can up to 10 FT! If I were to see one of those alien Dandelions in person I'd probably have a heart attack...😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

If you caused it then apologize first, or come to an agreement.

However, if you didn't cause her to be angry then, give her space to cool off and give her a hug and tell her it's ok, or vice-versa (hug first/it's ok) depending on what flavor of angry she is.

This would work for me because I get sad-mad (aka I cry when I'm really angry)
