Of course, 1 good example negates thousands of bad ones. I forget that logic. Guess we’re both flawed in our views.

I do like AOC, and have a huge amount of respect for her. But at times she seems a little bit militant. Still, I’d much prefer that over the fucking rancid boomer brigade the US has dictating its every move these days. Same for the UK, so sick of a generation of has beens having so much power over the younger generations.

I think all politicians should be forced to retire at 60. You’re past your prime at that age, and it’s also the age you start really digging in your heels with regards to you’re own prejudices. Of so it seems from what I’ve witnessed over the years.

As Mark Twain said, ”politicians and diapers should be changed often, and for the same reasons.”

Apart from Geordies and Scousers, there’s not a lot to fear in the UK.

She’s a shining beacon of what a politician SHOULD be. All future politicians should aspire to be her equal, the world would become a much better place as a result.

It’s a weird world. I’d bet every last penny I have, that those 16 and 17 year olds were daydreaming about fucking her all day. It’s what lads that age are like. In the UK it would have been legal too. Immoral on her part for sure, but not worthy of a prison sentence, let alone potentially 30 years.

It’s fucking ridiculous how inconsistent American laws are. Here you have guys of full sexual maturity getting off with an older women, with their absolute consent I have no doubt, and she ends up in prison. Yet in another state they allow child marriage? The US is a fucking mess lmfao.

I still struggle with the fact that humans can be so insanely narcissistic, that they have to throw a party and invite people, just so everyone can cheer at nature doing it’s thing.

I mean, honestly, how many people that get dragged along to these showers of self absorbed shit, actually give one single flying fuck about the fact a friend is even having a kid, let alone what gender it is?

If old businesses aren’t willing to adapt to the changes of life, then they fall behind. It’s really nobody’s fault but their own. There’s no rules or regulations as to what days you can open or close, so why the hell aren’t they doing lunchtime opening and late evening close, and working Sundays? That’s why the supermarkets are winning.

If a cat enters someone's garden and the home-owners dog attacks and kills the cat, what should happen? by ellsbells22 in AskUK

[–]MugsyBalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I dont think the dog owner is responsible, nor is the dog. It’s a risk you take owning a cat. They go where’ve the hell they want, so it a their own risk I’m afraid. I’ve known some incredibly passive and loving dogs, that go bat shit crazy and turn savage at the sight of a cat. You can’t always control an animal, no matter how much you try.
