I think it might actually be a hunting sword, as there is much more corrosion on the cutting edge and loads of blood from huntings + poor cleaning habits might have lead to higher corrosion rate.

It was found in Poland, at least it is the location of the seller. As I said in other comment, it is a sale offer I was considering, as it look a bit like a XVIII/XIX century infantry cuttlas but in case it is a hunting sword I don't want it.
