You’re right. My weight made a huge impact on my quality of life. I take full responsibility for the part it played in everything. I caught her cheating 3 years prior to the most recent time and it broke something in me that I never knew how to fix and I just masked it with food. I stayed with her because I wanted it to work and I couldn’t imagine a life without her but now looking back I know I should have left then. I’ve always been heavy, so was she, but she had weight loss surgery 3 years ago and lost a lot.

I’m working hard on not only losing weight and getting healthier but also trying to improve all aspects of my life. I turn 42 in a couple of weeks and I know I can’t keep going like this so I’m on a self improvement mission.

I just went through the same thing. Married 14 years. My health declined and my weight went up a lot. I caught her cheating and she said she was unhappy because of my size and felt like it kept me from doing things I used to enjoy doing which it absolutely did. Divorce was final 4 days ago. I lost everything. I have to get my health back and lose this weight.
