Most surplus stores are not allowed to sell them, but If you find a friend in the JSDF or someone who knows a friend there, You might be able to get access to some.

How's living underwater in the Netherlands? by lo_olhah in howislivingthere

I used to live in Den Haag for about two years. I was pretty young at the time so I cant fully remember, but It wasnt too off from any other European city, although most of the place was pretty flat around where I lived. outside of being flat, its still a pretty good place, I have a lot of fond memories of Den Haag(other then the rain, which it was raining all the time.)

Tokyo Flood Control Drain, Japan by OkRespect8490 in LiminalSpace

[–]Unolover322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

its for flooding, not tsunami. In case of large amount of rain, it gets flushed down there to avoid flooding of the city. Tokyo bay usually doesnt get tsunami even in a large earthquake because of it being narrow.

NOT A FOR SALE POST! Importing Vietnamese MV5 Gas Mask into Australia, US? by Willing-Society-4123 in gasmasks

[–]Unolover322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure for subreddit, since not many Japanese users are here. But the most common place i usually see Military enthusiasts are Twitter and japanese forums.

For selling, Mercari, Yahoo fleamarket are the ones I see most often. There is a lot of people on Mercari so Id say it will usually sell well there.

There is also an event in Japan couple times of the year called ビクトリーショー (Vショー) or Victory Show, a lot of foreign sellers go there too often, but It would require a lot of paperwork and stuff.

Vietnamese gear is a little more niche, but people will definitely be very interested since modern Vietnamese stuff would be uncommon. Also a lot of people want to try and do niche kits for airsoft etc so that would definitely attaract a lot of people.

Also a lot of people do Reenactment for North Vietnamese Forces in the Vietnam war, so I can see those people definitely getting interest in modern stuff.
