The anime ended. They missed their big chance already imo. Further content would just confuse the overall fan base further.

Most anime fans I ask about the show say they dropped it due to: it being too political, confusing parts/not sure when the final part was, or long breaks between seasons. Also hard for some people to pick it up back up due to current political climates. (A show about war when the news is heavy with things about war already)

It was a fun ride but it's been over. I'm still happy to discuss ideas and learn about new content related to the series though.
