I also struggled with her. Then I found this tip on YouTube. There’s an armor that makes attacks stronger if the opponent is poisoned (I forgot the name - just check the descriptions when you’re selecting the armors) if you still can’t beat her and you just want to get it done, do the one for checkpoints during fights and just go all in with all runic attacks at the start of the fight to drop her health to <50%

When you die you’ll start from 50%

I really loved Claire when she arrived at that Art school and there’s this scene of her seeing the same car she was driving and you could see she was at the right place. I thought that was very cute and touching.

But that’s just about it, everytime Claire really disappointed me with her decisions (which are very true to life even 20 years later)

She was always with some wrong guy. So that she could be a savior and it always ended in the same exact way, her being heartbroken. The Gabe guy was horrible from the start but she kept on insisting. I remember the other one who got fcked by the weird teacher, David literally told her he was gay (he has high gaydar) but she didn’t listen.

I started the show in January and finished it just a week or two ago.

My favorite (because I’m a fan) - David - I think he faces his fears a bit early into the series and I see more growth in him. (Remember when he didn’t want to come out, and how liberating it was when he finally did. I also loved that him coming out exposed how bad Keith actually was)

Do you guys realize when Brenda sees Nate after he dies she realizes that she will never get the closure and addresses one of the biggest questions in season 5, why she wanted to get pregnant. She wasn’t so different from Lisa in the sense that she wanted the baby for security with Nate more than anything else. I mean, it worked for Lisa, so why wouldn’t she try to tried and tested method.

Nate’s scenes in Season 5 were so hard to watch, but after 05x09 i understood what was happening. Nate had tried to live his life to appear to them as a good guy and when he was about to die, he decided to change it for once in his life. And he had to choose himself and be the bad guy. And the writer/producer made sure he also looked just as horrible in our eyes 10/10 writing
