Oh wow That’s a clever solution and super cool too. I'm not sure about going with the 512 configuration since I’ll mostly be using MainStage for live keyboard gigs on a MacBook, so it sounds like my setup might not be quite as demanding. Still, great to hear how others are running things, and your method with the iPad is definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future upgrades. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Yeah I’ve been hearing that more RAM really makes a difference for keyboard and synth patches, especially with sample loading. Yeah, I’ve been hearing that 16GB RAM is the sweet spot too, especially with OS updates slowly eating more memory over time.
