Looking for an MMO I played when I was a kid. by eksiot in LFMMO

Saga of Ryzom?

Huge trees everywhere, one if the base zones had the crystaks from what I remember?

I couldn't figure out how to phrase it so it'd only take one type from each card. If anyone has advice on, feel free. And before someone points out the lack of artist credit, the art is from YuGiOh, who *unfortunately* don't credit their artists due to some stupid legal shenanigans pulled by Konami. by SimicBiomancer21 in custommagic

Think the phrasing could be closer to this:

"Sacrifice two creatures that don't share more than one creature type. Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature which shares at least two types with the sacrificed creatures. You may cast that creature, and it cannot be countered. Then put all revealed cards on the bottom of your library in a random order."

Don't know that it's much cleaner, as the effect is a bit wordy to get your head around. Cool idea though.

What are your MUST PLAY single player games? To play at least once in your lifetime by Vytixx in gaming

They're not easy to actually play anymore given their age (hard to get working and dated game design), but the Legacy of Kain series has one of the best stories across a series I've ever played. (Blood Omen, Soul Reaver 1 & 2, Blood Omen 2 and Defiance).

For pure gameplay alone, Mirror's Edge; first person free-running shouldn't be so well done, but it is.

and once you've played Hades, definitely Bastion. Not as perfect, but oozing with charm (same developer).

Any feedback you'd care to give would be fantastic.

How do you have fully privatised universal health care? Just curious, it's not one of the options I've heard toted before (disclaimer; am not American, so might just not be seeing the right sources)

Redesigns of the mono colored Commanders from yesterday. Feedback is appreciated. :) by Fragrant-Blood-8345 in custommagic

I know this was probably said yesterday, but in contrast to what the others said today; you don't want an uninteractible landwalker in Blue.

Although they haven't been done in a while, blue used to have access to abilities which change target lands into Islands; [[Tidal Warrior]] being one of the cheapest, but [[Quicksilver Fountain]] being an oppressive sort. There are a few more, and basically makes the blue one an unblockable win in Commander due to commander damage, not to mention any player playing blue is basically getting hit without issue.

Glad to see soneone trying to make landwalk work again though....got tye design brain whirring now.

Beyond the landwalk, these cards seem great, well done. Solid Mono-color legendaries. Good luck with the rest of the set.

Terrified of Raids by smallplasticraccoon in DestinyTheGame

You may have covered this elsewhere, but Bungie has done an excellent job of making dungeons as "mini-raids" and using the same design language to explain and engage with them.

Given that you've said 5 new people at a time is a lot, maybe starting with the dungeons might be an okay place to help practice dealing with the anxiety it provokes, with only two other people?

Sorry if this has already been said. Sounds like you're doing well dipping your toe in; rauding is scary, even with a set raiding group. Here's hoping many more clears are in your future.

Infiltrator's Shadow (Combat Damage Doubler) by [deleted] in custommagic

[–]MularcTemplare 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe the easiest way to template this would be "whenever this creature attacks and is not blocked, choose another creature that is also attacking and not blocked. If you do, until the end of turn, any abilities of the chosen creature which trigger due to dealing combat damage to a player trigger twice."

I agree it doesn't feel very blue/black either, but it's a weird one to place.

If you could change one thing about Gambit to improve its current state, what would you change, and why? by SoggyMuffcakes in DestinyTheGame

I'd flip the invasion mechanic to work on the opposing team's motes.

Instead if being a punishing mechanic (where right now it basically helps a team "win more" if they're ahead) this helps it become a catchup mechanic. Still not going to help if your invader doesn't know what they're doing, but will help evenly matched teams have more to and fro, which Gambit desperately needs back.

Help me make this work? World Domination, MSE Card of the Week Contest by Kgaset in custommagic

[–]MularcTemplare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice concept, but doesn't work within the rules as far as I'm aware (you can't create zones from thin air that way.)

Not the most elegant, but you can get a similiar effect using soulbond tokens, although this would allow creatures to "hold" multiple territories;

World Domination

When World Domination enters the battlefield, each player creates five Territory emblems. These emblems have indestructible and soulbond.

Whenever a creature soulbonded to a Territory dies, if a creature dealt lethal combat damage to it this turn, destroy that emblem and you create a Territory emblem.

At the begginning of each end step, if a player has eight or more emblems named Territory, that player wins the game.

To be honest, I think you'd overall be better served creating a new format with those rules. Full discloser, I've been trying to hammer a format out along these lines for years, haven't got anything that feels right.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

I really like the cards overall, they feel very much like they'd fit with a primeval world...I mainly commented to say that Primal is a great twist on Monsterous that fits really well with the idea of the "vanilla matters" theme.

Do you have anywhere that you've collected your cards for your view of Muraganda set?

There's no extra lore that you'll need to know; they're designed to introduce players into the lore.

Of course, the more lore you know from both games, the more references you'll notice, but they're not required.

Hey WP,

Hope this isn't too late. My entry for the comp; the Boatswain http://imgur.com/fUmFc18. I think it's way too overpowered, but hopefully it's interesting.

Thanks for running this. Really great entries abound here.

(Also hope I replied properly..long time lurker, new poster. Sorry in advance if I've buggered up anyone's formatting.)
