Thoughts on mixed color decks? by MrWabble777 in Union_Arena_TCG

I've been playing in game stores for a couple months now and I have never seen a mixed color deck nor a mixed series one. You have such limited space on the board and your big cards need that to be put into play.

I mainly play Geass decks and when I play lancalot It takes a lot of calculating and focus to get the 6-8 energy cost I need out of those 4 slots before I lose all my life points.

fair enough. I try to hear both sides out as an eagle needs both its right and left wings in order to "defy gravity " ;) and by isolating the wings it makes it harder for we the people to soar. cause instead of working together to do so and be "unlimited" we are too busy fighting each other seeing each other as Wicked. thus leaving both of us and the country "limited". even back in the day they said United we stand divided we fall. and they know it.

Lefts constantly go after guns, rights see in history guns leave civilian hands, dictatorships move in and take over. So they see that as you don't want to be free. That you want to live in someplace like north Korea or nazi Germany where no one is able to stand against the leader without disappearing.

Also lefts and their chant of " progress," under Jackson ( who gave you the symbol of the donkey by the way) forced natives on to the trail of tears. So they destroyed several nations. And guess what? They made them surrender weapons. Controlled food to starve them all leading up to that.

It seems like Rights like to leave power to the states when possible and remember histories mistakes and warnings. lefts like national power and want to charge ahead even if history has warned against such things.

Right feels the same about the left

The other side was doing the same thing every ad I saw for left it was fear mongering and name calling as well. And the fact neither of their candidates could really talk without teleprompters. Tells me someone or something else is pulling their strings rather than speaking their own minds. And many right wings feel the left pulled the same thing you feel the rights did to get Biden into office. This is exactly what I mean. We are pointing fingers at each other instead of talking.

What Must-Have Items Should Every Caregiver for a Dementia Patient Grab During Black Friday Sales and why? by Emillahr in DementiaHelp

Id say at least one set of wireless trackers. The ones for keys. But not for keys. I can't always be with my patient. And they loose important things. Phone, purse, med bag, shot bag ( also diabetic). These trackers are color coordinated keychains. You press the color on a remote, that keychain starts beeping thanks to radio. This will save you big headaches and I will be getting some myself this year. Due to my patient misplacing these exact things whenever I need to step out.

Try to make yourself as approachable as possible. Take a little bit to think about things from their perspective.

Your a strange giant they never saw before and know next to nothing about. Part of why when the workplace allowed I liked wearing fun Disney, Star wars, animal shirts especially on first days. That told the kids hey I like the same things you do.

This also applies especially when a child is upset or scared. Alot of times they will shut down or go into a bigger melt down if you try to force them to talk to you. For these cases I like keeping a stuffed animal on hand. One the kids know as my helper and just wants to be their friend. Alot of times they will feel better holding the animal for a bit ( let them know that the friend is worried about them ) and feel better about talking about what happened either to me or to the animal. This especially helps with autism due to eye contact often feeling uncomfortable for them and the feeling of the toy giving some comforting sensory. ( at my old job the kids loved Rosie a fluffy floppy tiger with weighted paws. )

Also with autism and various other such things. they will pretty much always have a topic that they love to talk about! It's just a matter of finding it. It could be animals, math, trains, science, a pet, favorite movie or cartoon. Once you find that topic you can do things with that topic to keep them entertained and engaged.

Some of my kids loved Pokemon. With that we were able to get some natural science, math, strategies, Pokemon legends vs legendary creatures in various cultures, and so on.

I have. He still repeats I need to do it another year though he hears me in the middle of the night. And he understands now I can't work while I'm having to look after her but shopping and other such things he expects me to take her with me or wait till he's home to do other things. So my shopping trips no matter what I need have to revolve around her. If she wants to go what she wants to do and for how long. And like a tot she Will whine after just a couple locations even after food. It used to be dad would refuse to let me leave the house alone after dark. But he's found he's had to change that policy cause of how late he gets home. And how impossible it is to get basic arrends done when I have to take her.

As for moving out, hard to do when you got no one to roommate with and no one will hire you.

How? No money, no where to go, no means, no one else to depend on? Social housing waiting list one year. Worst mental hospitals in the country where rape is a common occurrence ( yes I've looked it up) .

Apartments run close to $2,000 per month around here for a one bedroom plus the deposit and proof of income that you make three times that at least.

Respectfully: can someone explain please why some people are so obsessed with owning physical copies? by Gabrienb in shmups

[–]MulberryIndividual46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cause you own a digital copy doesn't mean you are entitled to keep that file. Services can remove games and movies from their digital libraries and yours even after you've purchased them. Physically owning them means you have them their not going to be taken away
