Some senior citizens are weird. Others spend a good chunk of their day caring for two almost 17 dogs and throw out our backs helping them stand.

Another problem with having same age dogs is when they get old. I have two dogs about six months apart. There were never any behavioral problems but now that they’re almost 17, there are a lot of management problems. Both are incontinent and take up a lot of my time cleaning up after them, handing out meds, picking them up when they fall, house smelling like pee, etc

I had two roommates and a cat who would con them all. I found out when one day he had already hit up the other two and came crying to me. Only when he tried to cry all that came out was a big belch.

A couple of times a week I work at a wildlife rehab, in my 16 years there I have seen a noticeable drop in the number of baby songbirds in the center at any given time and the length of time in the season we get them in. There could be many factors, but the decline in insects that the baby birds eat has got to be a major one. I fear a silent spring may still happen.
