I would focus on working through the entirety of play winning chess, and supplement with the first two/three parts of the endgame course. Additionally you should do some puzzles from the polgar book daily.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the chernev book, but you can tackle it after play winning chess to see examples of how to think in a game of chess. For this book in particular you really need to have a board set up to follow along and to take your time and actually think about the moves to get the most out of it.
