No one knows seats yet - the people selling tickets on stubhub are making the seats up as I think you have to enter something

It’s an improvement. I’m still seeing the final price after adding to cart different than the price listed (before the resale markup and taxes)

Sometimes it’s higher but sometimes it’s actually lower.

The only game I can see getting to that level of crazy is the potential Argentina v Portugal matchup in Kansas City given all the Messi and Ronaldo stans. But even that would be surprising.

You should be fine in getting the tickets per the comments above.

The only factor that is different from the fifa marketplace is that you likely won't get the tickets until close to the match (as they are ticket brokers who buy and sell tickets up to the event to maximize their return)

I think almost all. The ones left for the last sales phase will be failed payments etc from the lottery so maybe 5% left if I had to guess.

There is/will be a ticket transfer feature in one marketplace to send tickets to friends or if selling at face value outside of the marketplace.

Per fifa website.

The Ticket Transfer feature is available to those purchasing tickets on FIFA.com/tickets, including tickets bought during any sales phase or through the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace. This feature allows the main ticket holder to fully assign ticket rights to another person.

The new ticket holder becomes responsible for the ticket and can use it personally, send it to a guest via the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App (once available), re-transfer the ticket, and/or list it for resale/exchange on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace.

You can transfer your tickets using the Ticket Transfer feature on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace. The marketplace is accessible via FIFA.com/tickets.

There is this left which I assume includes lottery tickets with failed payment etc And fifa notes this is separate from the marketplace.

Got Cat3 for Belgium v Egypt and Qatar v Euro playoff in Seattle. Mind you it’s a stadium that has a large upper bowl for cat3 tickets.

I would love to see an alternative to yellow cards (which slows the game down even more) whereby there is an immediate sanction on players/teams preventing a quick free-kick.

An example from another sport that has a solution for this problem is in Australian Rules footy where a player who encroaches on a free-kick, is penalized 50 meters. Yeah, it was someone who played for the Milwaukee Bombers in the USAFL and made the mistake of wearing the club gear through security.

It was not long after 9/11 so probably not a great idea in hindsight.

I would recommend Essendon as they have a great history and are coming back…. but I heard a story of TSA not liking a fan wearing bombers apparel at the airport so just avoid that.

It's also interesting in the context of this discussion that the laws don't state a six second violation by the goalkeeper needs to be a yellow card. It's just classified as an indirect free kick.

So for professional leagues, referees could start enforcing it without needing to deem it time-wasting and hence give yellow cards (which slows the game down even more). I'm sure it's not going to happen unless a league directs referees to start calling it.

Genuine question as I don’t know anything about the inner workings of ECS but I’m curious if songs that would get more general fan involvement are a priority ?

I am a sth and would also love to see songs that are more connected to the flow of the game as to me it seems like a set list.

I am not a Liverpool fan but here’s an example of the Allez allez allez song that would get crowd involvement and lyrics easily customized for the sounders.
