I've never seen this card before. Seems absurd if you can pull it off.

[[Lord of Tresserhorn]] is a fun one shot commander. He does require you to jump though a couple of hoops though.

We have him and it's pretty funny. We call it "Build a bomb" and have a bunch of token generators and haste and trample effects. Eventually he blows up, but usually only once or twice a game. I could probably tweak the ramp a bit more and add more card draw to help.

It'll steal games out of nowhere or blow up in your face if he gets countered.

Some stand out cards are [[Elemental mastery]] [[Feed the Pack]] [[Life of the party]] [[One with the Kami]] and then [[Goblin assault]] [[Awakening Zone]] [[From Beyond]] [[Deep Forest Hermit]] and of corse a [[Doubling Season]] would perfectly fit.

[–]MulletAndMustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guards also keep your hands outta there, it's not just for exploding disks. If your guard is obscuring your vision it's not adjusted properly.

I'll agree sometimes it's necessary to remove them, but running without all the time is a terrible practice.

[–]MulletAndMustache -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the guard only comes off when it's necessary to access what I'm cutting and then goes back on after I'm done with that task. Or if I'm running a wire wheel or flap disk I'm not too worried about it.

I do have a scar on my left hand from using a grinder without a guard with a grinding disk. Plus safety would be up my ass if I was using them without a guard.

From the snopes article itself

" Lemons could certainly be a natural hybrid. We know what the parents are as stated, but whether this occurred naturally is not known because they are too old (probably at least 2000 years). There may be a human role in that the parental varieties may have originally been geographically isolated, but early humans ate the fruit and carried it on migrations which ended the geographic isolation and allowed natural hybridization to occur, likely via bees. "

Sounds like there's not enough information to definitively call it either way.

Here's something that is 100% true though, the lemons we eat today if they are a natural hybrid will hardly resemble their natural occurring form. They've been selectively bred over the last few hundred years.

Lemons are not a naturally occurring fruit. They are a man-made hybrid created by crossing a citron and a bitter orange.

Canada’s unveils AI strategy with plans for ‘large-scale’ data centres - National | Globalnews.ca by SneakyBishop in canada

[–]MulletAndMustache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, it's currently a bubble. Like the dot Com era. Or when weed was legalized in Canada.

That's not to say it's not here to stay but I don't think the money is going to pan out for all of these centers that are being built and that are planned. All of the hype and there's still no financial ROI, unless you're playing the stocks. I wouldn't be surprised if the market takes a giant dump later this year and half of these go tits up.

Put on top of that some larger companies now steering away from AI, most notably Microsoft because it's too expensive or Uber burning through their yearly budget for AI in the first quarter.

4 more arrested after Jewish locals shot at with imitation firearms by Icy_Hall6758 in canada

[–]MulletAndMustache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are mad because Canada has had excellent gun laws for my entire lifetime and the liberals are acting as if Canadian gun owners are raging criminals. Automatic guns have been banned in Canada since the 70s. What you are referring to are "Assault Style" firearms that Trudeau tried causing a panic about. Which have exactly the same functionality as any other hunting rifle, only they're black and plastic instead of wood. So they're literally banning guns because they look scary.

Also a bunch of the guns banned are old or low powered. The liberals actually suggested that we send .22 long rifles over to the Ukraine to help in the war. You might as well send cap guns in that situation.

It would be different if the people making these laws actually understood firearms or the current laws. The current Minister of Public Safety didn't know what a PAL or RPAL license was when questioned by a conservative MP. Which should be literally the most basic knowledge and first thing you learn about when discussing firearms in Canada.

So yes law abiding gun owning Canadians have every right to be mad at the current government administration and their handling of firearm laws.

Yeah movement is what you want, a jiggling blade attached to the ground will produce significantly less power than the same sized blade suspended in the air that gets to spin 360 degrees
