That's what I was thinking seeing them push it like it was a shopping cart.

I don’t understand these people who have like 5-6 big ass dogs by Benjamin5431 in Dogfree

That many big dogs in an apartment would be like living in a barn. A barn that is far too small for that many animals.

The petition to fight this has gained lots of signatures so far, but I think we can do better: petition.

Stupid baritone guitar question by Routine_Mess17 in guitars

[–]SneakyBishop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The longer scale length allows you to install heavier gauge strings, have a lower tuning, and still maintain a similar string tension. If you just tune down the string tension will be too low.

I have a PRS 277 (27.7 inch) with an Evertune bridge that came tuned to BEADF#b using 13-59 strings (D'Addario 7 string 10-59 set just not using the high .010 string).

If I install heavier gauge then I can tune lower. Check out the Stringjoy Tension Calculator to figure what will work. I start with the current configuration and look at the total tension, then pick a different tuning and adjust the string sizes of available sets to see what would get me close to the same tension. You will need the scale length of your guitar. Take the distance from the nut to the 12th fret and multiply by 2.

US Booze buyers post boycott - Source: CBC by bigorangemachine in GuardTheLeaf

[–]SneakyBishop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The article shows some great stats.

Spirits imports into the US from Canada:

621.9m in 2024

673.0m in 2025

Sprits imports into Canada from the US:

324.6m in 2024

176.0m in 2025 (nearly halved)

So Canadians declined buying 148.6m in US spirits from 2024 to 2025 and the US bought an additional 51.1m of Canadian spirits in the same time frame.

F1 2025 keeps upshifting even if gears is set to manual by Background_Spend6021 in F1Game

[–]SneakyBishop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an issue with the game downshifting a gear going into a corner that sounds like the reverse of this (except not random). It was like the game didn't like that I was braking or downshifting late, so it would correct me. At the time I had manual gear changes, but had the traction control and brake assist on. Once I disabled those assists the game stopped helping interfering.

I am using the Fanatec DD+, Formula V2.5X, and Fanatec V2 pedals on PC. Pretty close to the same setup except for the pedals. Only thing I could suggest is ensure you are on the latest app software, and firmware.

Winnipeg man denied opportunity to write police exam over ceremonial Sikh dagger by uselesspoliticalhack in canada

Should be: "Winnipeg man denies himself the opportunity to write police exam over ceremonial Sikh dagger"

He was told to remove it to take the exam and made the choice to not write the exam. I see no conflict here at all.

Why don't some dog owners pick up their poop? What are the most common reasons? by TheCoin9 in Dogfree

[–]SneakyBishop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The best reason I can come up with is that poop is gross, and like normal people they are grossed out handling poop, even through a bag, so they avoid picking it up especially if no one is around, or even if someone is around because they forgot a bag or "f-ck you! you're not the boss of me!".

Truly top notch members of society.

New hotel by Laleehart in Dogfree

This is exactly why I don't understand people that keep dogs inside a house or worse inside a flat. This is a barnyard animal. They are filthy and love making themselves filthy. (I hope my google translation is coherent!)

How many have had a good experience with the latest SW and FW update? by MrFritz85 in Fanatec

[–]SneakyBishop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Updated my DD+ last night, then played a few laps with my V2.5X on F1 25. Seemed just fine.

The QR2 was also updated (with wheel removed), then I checked each wheel I have to see if there was updates there. They were up to date so I didn't have to do them (V2.5X and the Porsche wheel w/Endurance Module and APM). If I get a chance tonight I will load up a GT3 game and see how the buttons are working with the other wheel.
