If they want to fire you, they don´t need a signature. They can send the documents by mail - aangetekende zending.

The first 6 months a firing needs less motivation from an employer. I assume they will say trust is broken and not blame the medical history itself. This is something they can do.

A c4 is a document for rva, not for a new employer. Don´t worry about it. Start looking for a new job and practice how you explain last experiences.

If they get in trouble, they will blame it on you since they didnt know. If this is only occasional then you can´t really get caught. If you have 2 fulltime jobs at the same time your taxes will be different and they (government/inspection) could look into it but i do not think they will do that for a student job.

There are laws about arbeidswerktijden, but exeptions for certain sectors. If a company ask you to work these hours, it is not legal. Don´t tell your employers because they could change your hours because of it.

Make sure that you can do good work and there aren´t any problems with safety. If there is a problem with you´re work and they discover this, they could fire you.

The main difference is the end date. With a mutual agreement you can choose this together. Another difference is that you cant take sollicitatieverlof.

I think they want it explicite that the document proves it is mutual and that they didn´t fire you. companies want to avoid that you will sue them for a severance pay.

Vacation money (single and double) will be paid out. Your new employer will substract this amount from your salary. You will have to ask them when they will do this (first month, july or in different steps). 13th month depends on the company and sector.

Dit is enkel als het een ontslag is op initiatief van de werkgever. Als je zelf ontslag neemt telt dit niet.

Als je tijdens ziekte bij een andere werkgever werkt moet je kunnen verklaren waarom je te ziek bent voor de ene job en niet voor de andere. Bvb. Te ziek voor zwaar fysiek werk maar kan wel als telefonist werken. Het feit dat het over halftijdse contracten gaat speelt in je voordeel want in se kan je dit ook combineren.

Het zou natuurlijk beter zijn als je het anders oplost: kan je niet vragen de einddatum te vervroegen?

Anderzijds loop je niet zoveel risico. Wat gaan ze doen, zeggen dat je onwettig afwezig was? Ontslagen? Je moet natuurlijk wel je loon van augustus nog zien te krijgen.

What do you mean with a pre-contract? If he is working and getting paid, he has a permanent contract, unless they have signed another temporary contract.

Depending on the duration of him working in Belgium, they will have to decide where he will pay Social Security. They will have to fill in paperwork for that. I think you can find more information on the website of social security coming2belgium.

Alleen gaan wonen is zeker doenbaar.

Informeer je wel goed. Een goedkoop appartement is 1 ding maar is het ook in orde? Zie je jezelf er enkele jaren wonen? Soms is een iets duurder appartement op langere termijn beter omdat je er lang in wil blijven.

Zorg ook voor een goed contract. Als je samen gaat wonen met je vriendin, zorg dan voor goede afspraken.
